In Memory of Betty June Beaird
Betty June Beaird, daughter of the late John V. Young and Gwendolyn “Daisy” Powell Young was born on June 13, 1933 in Parma, Missouri and departed this life on February 10, 2018 in Mark Twain Caring Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri at the age of 84.

Mrs. Beaird was Retired from Veteran’s Administration where she was in Civil Service.  She was a resident of Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

She was united in marriage to Eulen Beaird in Parma, Missouri on May 18, 1952.  Mr. Beaird preceded his wife in death on May 5, 1998.

Survivors include one son, David Beaird & wife Mary Ellen of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; by one brother, John David Young of Brighton, Illinois; by one sister, Joy Corlew of Godfrey, Illinois; by three grandchildren, Justin Beaird & wife Rebecca,  Jared Beaird & wife Elizabeth and Megan Beaird; by five great-grandchildren, Colby Beaird, Nora Beaird, Ellison Beaird, Layton Beaird and Harlan J. Beaird; also by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death other than by her parents and her husband, by one son, Kenneth Beaird; by one sister, Suzanne Griggs.

Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, Missouri on Friday, February 16, 2018 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M.   Funeral services will then be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie starting at 11:00 A.M.  Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.  Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements

In Memory of Richard Duwane Parker
Richard Duwane Parker, 50, of Marion, formerly of Crab Orchard, passed away at 9:37 AM, Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at his home.
Richard was born on December 18, 1967 in Joliet to Glen Leslie and Charlene (Schram) Parker. He married Sheila Jennings in Marion.

He was a jack of all trades. He was mechanically inclined and a skilled carpenter who loved helping anyone who needed it. Richard was a compassionate man who would give you the shirt off his back and often performed his work at no charge-.

In his spare time, he enjoyed watching NASCAR events and was a fan of the Chicago Cubs.

Survivors include - Wife- Sheila Parker of Marion, Son- Glen Parker and wife Lana of Walnut, MS, Daughter- Olivia Parker of Dexter, MO, Step children:, Ashley Clark of Benton, Amanda Jennings, David Jennings and Dustin Jennings all of Marion, Grandchild- Amelia Parker of Dexter, MO, Grandchildren- Leah and Harley Jennings of Marion, Mother- Charlene Parker of East Moline, IL, Sister- Pava Taylor of Williamsburg, IA, Sister- Glenda Iossi and husband David of Bettendorf, IA, Nieces and nephews: Lanae Lepesky, Hannah Hollis, Anthony Mallary, Parker Iossi and  Best Friend - Kelly Smith of Marion.

He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents and several aunts and uncles.

A memorial service will be held at a later date officiated by Rev. Gary Porterfield. Inurnment will be in Mt. Pleasant (Poordo) Cemetery. Arrangements were made at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion.

Memorial donations are suggested to the American Heart Association and will be accepted at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home/ 800 N. Market St./ Marion, IL 62959.

Mrs. Anna Lea Goodboo was born July 28, 1949 in Dexter, Missouri, the daughter of Cyril and Dorothy Marchant.

Anna Lea attended Flint Community Schools and attended First United Church.  She loved arts and crafts, bingo, and watching HGTV Property Brothers.  She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Anna Lea leaves to cherish her memory: daughter, Andrea Kent (Jeremy Purcell); son, Randy (Allison) Randall Jr.; grandchildren, Deovada kent, Gavaughny Mims, Lydell Kent II, Hailey Randall and Hayden Randall; brothers, Jeffery (Jennifer) Marchant and Cyril Marchant Jr.; sisters, Emma (Wayne) Razer and kathy (Vernon) Christian; a host of other relatives and riends including special friends, Keith (Debbie) Garrison, Donnie (Tonya) Chaffin and Sonja Smith.

Mrs. Anna Lea Goodboo was preceded in death by: husband, Harold Eugene Goodboo; parents, Cyril and Dorothy Marchant; father of her children, Randy Randall Sr.

Memorial Services were held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the First United Church in Flint, Michigan with Pastor Kirk Bodem officiating.

In Memory of Evelyn Irene Jones
Evelyn Irene (Mansbridge) Jones of Poplar Bluff, formerly of Puxico, MO passed away Tuesday, February 13th, 2018 at Oakdale Assisted Living in Poplar Bluff, Mo at the age of 94.

Daughter of the late Fred Hinton Mansbridge and Cora Cecilia (Untiedt) Mansbridge. She was born on October 23rd, 1923 in Fisk, Mo.

On January 26, 1946 she was marries to Harold E. Jones in Poplar Bluff. He preceded her in death on October 20th, 2011. They lived in Nebraska and Iowa and returned to Puxico, MO area in 1963. They lived there until moving to Poplar Bluff in 2011. They were members of the United Methodist Church.

She was a homemaker and loved cooking and taking care of her family. She loved gardening, bird watching, crocheting and spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving are two daughters Sandra Kay Deprew of Malden, Mo and Carolyn and Bob Fisher of Poplar Bluff, MO and one son, John and Pat Biltof  of Mountain Home, Arkansas. Five grandchildren Jeremy Asher of Malden, Will and Jill of Bernie, Aaron and Chris Asher of Bernie, Jessica and Joel Murphy of Poplar Bluff, and Bobbie Jo and Heath Lance of Omaha, Nebraska. Fourteen great grandchildren Erika, Kynlee, Chad, Logan, Mason, Nolan, Austin, Mackenzie, Natalie, Reese, Waeston, Gavin, Brooklyn and Grayson.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Kay Jones, and siblings Herbert and Flora Lee Mansbridge, Margaret and Bob Pleis, Ruth and Cleo Leach, Gail and Anna Lea Mansbridge.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 18th at Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, MO from 6 to 8 p.m., Family at 5 p.m.. Funeral services will be Monday, February 19th at 10 am in the

Funeral Home with burial at the Puxico Cemetery with Bishop Kent Miller officiating.

In Memory of Juanita June Dicky Lynxwiler
Juanita June “Dicky” Lynxwiler, daughter of the late Edgar Alvin and Goldie Elnorah Sadler Collins, was born in Utah on May 12, 1939, and passed away at the Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on February 11, 2018, at the age of 78 years, 8 months and 30 days.

Mrs. Lynxwiler had lived in Blodgett & Sikeston before moving to Bloomfield, Missouri in

1973. She attended the First General Baptist Church in Bloomfield. She han her own quilting business and loved creating quilts. She loved games, playing bingo, cards and had been on a bowling league for 35 years.

On August 27, 1955, she was married to Herman Lynxwiler in Pocohontas, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on June 2, 2010.

Surviving are six daughters & spouses, Charlotte & Robert Henrickson, Connie & Bill Juengel, Marchelle & Mike Robey, Belissa & John Durham, Valery Yeakey & Tonya Lynxwiler; one son & wife; Herman Lyn & Sandy Lynxwiler; sixteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; one brother & wife, Joe & Mary Collins of Michigan; and one sister, Melba Colbert of Sikeston. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Donald, Kenneth, Roy and Ralph Collins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri with the Rev. Blake Brown of Bloomfield, Missouri officiating.

Interment will be in the Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
