In Memory of Christina Hadley
Christina Hadley, daughter of the late Bennett Ballard and Hattie Cabler Ballard was born December 22, 1926 in Licking, Missouri and departed this life on January 16, 2018 in the Cypress Point Skilled Nursing Center in Dexter at the age of 91 years.

Mrs. Hadley was a former secretary for Baptist Associations, both in Tennessee and Missouri. She was of the Southern Baptist faith and a resident of Dexter.

She was united in marriage to Ira L. Hadley Jr. on May 25, 1945.  Mr. Hadley preceded her in death on November 7, 1990.

Survivors include; one son, David Hadley(Yolanda) of Raleigh, North Carolina:  by two daughters, Marilyn Murphy(Patrick) of Franklin, Pennsylvania and Debby Triplett(Steve) of Jena, Louisiana:  by one brother, Leon Ballard of St. Louis, Missouri:  by five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Lyndon L. Hadley; by one daughter, Barbara Kay Hadley; by one son-in-law, Gordon Mattison; by one brother, Wayne Ballard; by three sisters, Winona McGee, Doris Lasater and Marie Ballard.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 2:00 P. M. until 4:00 P. M. 

Interment will be held at a later date in the Craddick Cemetery in Licking, Missouri.

In Memory of Randall Joe Allen
Randall Joe Allen, the son of the late Fred Jenkins and Flora Belle Rife Allen, was born October 15, 1963, in Murphysboro, IL.

He served in the United States National Guard.

On October 27, 1982, in Mounds, IL, he was united in marriage to Sherry L. Parsons. She survives.

Mr. Allen died January 14, 2018, in Dexter, MO, at the age 54 years.

Survivors include his wife, Sherry Allen of Dexter; 1 son, Randall Joe Allen, Jr. of Dexter; 5 brothers, Jimmy Thomas of Cape Girardeau, MO, Teddy Lingle of Clarksville, TN, Curt Houston of Cape Girardeau, Terry Houston of Murphysboro, IL and Brian Allen of Sarasota, FL and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 2 sisters.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at 12:00 P.M. at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel with Brother John Windings officiating. Burial will be in Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, MO.

In Memory of Evelyn Elizabeth Lynch
Evelyn Elizabeth Lynch daughter of the late John Edward Cookson and Alva Elizabeth parsley was born out of Love September 9, 1935

On August 7, 1954 Evelyn married the love of her life Bobby Rudolph Lynch who preceded her in death. With this union two daughters were born Donna Ann Riggins which survives of Puxico and Linda Evelyn Capps also proceeding her in death.

Evelyn was a life long resident of Puxico, Missouri spending the majority of her life committed to her husband family and friends. Evelyn was a member of Duck Creek Baptist Church.

Evelyn spent her days living on the outskirts of Puxico raising livestock, row-crop farming along Bobby’s side. Evelyn loved to cook for her family, being a loving wife; and more than anything a mother to her children. 
Evelyn enjoyed gardening, canning produce, spending time with her family, attending church, working the farm and when she got the time playing the slot machines.

Survivors include eight grandchildren whom she dearly loved; Jason, Lisa, and Louesa McCollum of Puxico; Justin Capps of Donnellson Iowa, Crystal and John Capps of Burlington Iowa; Larry and Dillin Riggins of Puxico as well as eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be conducted Thursday January 18 at Duck Creek General Baptist Church in Puxico, MO. Visitation will start at 10:00 a.m Funeral service to follow at 12 noon. Officiant Will be Pastor Buck Cruse.

In Memory of Levi Sommers
Levi Sommers, son of the late Fred Sommers and Cordia Macomb Sommers was born on March 2, 1952 in Jerusalem, Arkansas and departed this life on January 14, 2018 at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 65 years.

Mr. Sommers was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses Church in Dexter, Missouri.  He was a mechanic for Williams Trucking in rural Dexter, Missouri and a resident of Bloomfield, Missouri.

On October 18, 1972, he was united in marriage to Brenda Long.  Mrs. Sommers resides at the home in Bloomfield.

Survivors include; his wife Brenda; one son, Jeremiah Sommers and Jennifer of Dexter, Missouri; by two daughters, Kathy Sommers of Bloomfield, Missouri and Diane Morgan and Dane of Bloomfield, Missouri; by one brother, Ben Sommers of Jerusalem, Arkansas; by four sisters, Helen Greer of Shawnee, Kansas, Rose Wallace of Paragould, Arkansas, Velma Finto of Buckholts, Texas and Lorene Hannell of Bloomfield, Missouri; by two grandchildren, K’Tala Morgan and Devan Morgan.

He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers and 2 sisters.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. 

Memorial Service will be conducted on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter.  

Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.

Naomi Yvonne Smith, daughter of the late Noel Lee Smith and Vivian Louis Robinson Smith was born in Dexter, Missouri on October 21, 1949 and departed this life in Cypress Point Healthcare in Dexter, Missouri on January 11, 2018 at the age of 68.

Ms. Smith was a resident of Bernie, Missouri.

Survivors include her Neighbor and friend, Donna Mason of Bernie, Missouri; also by other neighbors and friends.

Memorial services will be conducted at a later time.  Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
