Audrey Darlene Rowland, daughter of the late Edith Wallace Midgett and Charles Aubry Midgett, was born on January 18, 1954 in Risco, Missouri and departed this life on November 23, 2017 at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau at the age of 63.

Mrs. Rowland was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dexter, where she sang in the choir and was a resident of Dexter.  She had worked for twenty-eight years in the Risco School District as a secretary.  

On July 13, 1989 she was united in marriage to Danny Rowland in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.  He survives of the home.

Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters, Crescent and husband Mark Devenport of Jackson, Missouri and Tara and husband Ashley McMillian of Malden; by one step-son, Brad and wife Robin Silliman of Stillwater, Minnesota; by one brother, Terry Midgett of Risco, Missouri; by two sisters, Linda Bradley of Kennett, Missouri and Shelia Haertling of Jackson, Missouri, and by nine grandchildren, Madison Whitacre,  Jaycee Kay McMillian, Brayden Silliman, Kinley Silliman, Leslie Silliman, Tyler Silliman, Isabelle Silliman, Megan Hurst and Colby Devenport.

Friends may call at the First Baptist Church in Dexter on Saturday, November 25, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. (NOON). 

Funeral services will then be conducted on Saturday at Noon in the First Baptist Church Chapel with Rev. Mark Smith and Rev. Jay Scribner officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
