In memory of James Dale Jennings

James Dale Jennings, son of the late Edgar Jennings and Mildred Talley Jennings, was born in Dexter, Missouri on July 14, 1933 and departed this life at Cypress Point Skilled Care in Dexter, Missouri on October 10, 2017 at the age of 84 surrounded by his loving family and caring nurses.
Mr. Jennings was a carpenter. He was a resident of Essex, Missouri and a member of the Bernie General Baptist Church.
He was untied in marriage to Mary Ellen Wilmath in Piggott, Arkansas on September 30, 1950. Mrs. Jennings preceded her husband in death on December 16, 2008.
Survivors include one son, Larry Dale Jennings & Friend Dee Zikis of St. Charles, Illinois; by two daughters, Patricia Marchbanks & husband Don of Bartlett, Tennessee and Betty Jo Jenkins & husband David of Sikeston, Missouri; by two Sisters, Vida Noella Davis of the State of Texas and Reva Pitts of the State of Kentucky; by five Grandchildren, Gwendolyn Jennings, Christopher Milligan, Angela Walker, Barbara Shepard and Alexis Acord; by four great-grandchildren, Alec McDonald, Noah Milligan, Austin Shepard and Taylor Williams; by one Great-Great-Granddaughter, Isabella McDonald; also by other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death other than by his parents and his wife, by one sister, Eugana Davis; by one grandson, Matthew Jennings.
Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, Missouri on Monday Morning, October 16, 2017 from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M.
Funeral services will then be conducted at 12:00 P.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Bernie.
Interment will follow in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery, Dexter, Missouri.
Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.

In Memory of Avalyn Rose Frazier

Avalyn “Ava” Rose Frazier, daughter of Benjamin Michael Frazier and Didi Lynn Tucker Frazier, was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on September 10, 2017 and departed this life in Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri on October 6, 2017. Ava was 26 days old.
Survivors include Ava’s parents, Benjamin Michael and Did Lynn Frazier of Bernie; by three brothers, Hunter Corzine, Brody Frazier and Grayson Frazier; by two sisters, Celina Corzine and Hannah Frazier all of the home in Bernie; also by her grandparents, Ivan and Robbin Mekan of Bernie, Missouri and Mike and Pam Frazier of Dexter, Missouri; also by other relatives.
Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, Missouri on Monday, October 16, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.
A Memorial Service will then be conducted at 6:00 P.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel.

In Memory of Amberlea Jarrell

Amberlea Jarrell of Bloomfield, daughter of Sharon Kellogg Rampley and Ronald G. Jarrell, was born in Poplar Bluff on October 15, 1980, passed away at her home in Bloomfield on October 9, 2017, at the age of 36 years, 11 months and 24 days.
Amber had lived in Dexter and Bloomfield all of her life.
Surviving are her parents & spouses, Sharon & Stanley Rampley of Bloomfield, Ronald & Marilyn Jarrell of Bloomfield; one son, Devon Glass of Rolla; one daughter, Michaela Glass of Bloomfield; two half-brothers, Michael Jarrell and Jeff Jarrell both of Bloomfield; her maternal grandmother, Esther Kellogg of Wappapello. Other relatives and friends also survive.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Interment will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery near Bloomfield with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield in charge of arrangements.

In Memory of Oma Cagle

Oma Cagle, daughter of the late Herman King and Edith Proffer King was born on March 13, 1919 in Bloomfield, Missouri and departed this life on October 4, 2017 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 98 years.
Mrs. Cagle was a former employee of Elder Manufacturing in Bloomfield, Missouri and a resident of Advance, Missouri.
On November 27 1937 she was first united in marriage to Vadus Stacy. Mr. Stacy preceded her in death in 1962. She then married Lawrence Cagle in 1965. Mr. Cagle preceded her in death in 2000.
Survivors include two sisters, Velma Reinisch of Dexter and Wilda Mae Armes of Bloomfield, Missouri; by two brothers, Nerman King of Bloomfield, Missouri and Mike King of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; also by many nieces and nephews.
Besides her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Norman King, Herbert King, Thurman King, and Blanton King.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 12:00 until 2:00 P.M. Saturday October 7, 2017.
Funeral services will then be conducted on Saturday at 2:00 P.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Charlie Robertson officiating.
Interment will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery near Bloomfield.

In Memory of Nancy Abernathy

Nancy Jane Abernathy, age 58, of Bernie, MO, died Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at her residence.
Mrs. Abernathy was born March 19, 1959 in Campbell, MO.
She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church at Malden, MO.
She had worked for several years at 1st Midwest Bank in Dexter.
On April 3, 1982 she married Keith Abernathy at the First Baptist Church in Campbell, MO. He survives.
Also surviving are two daughters: Sydney Norman and Karsyn Abernathy both of Bernie; one granddaughter Sadie Rae Norman; her mother: Linda Trout of Puxico; one sister: Rhonda Hancock of Puxico and one brother: Donnie Trout of Poplar Bluff.
Her father: Donald Ray Trout preceded her in death.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 am on Saturday at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk.
Funeral services will follow at 12:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Johnny Meese and Rev. Jim Sanders officiating.
