In Memory of Cyrus Wayne Sides
Cyrus Wayne Sides, son of the late Cyrus Emmons Sides and Lina Warren Sides, was born in Hayti, Missouri on February 2, 1931 and departed this life at his Son’s residence in Festus, Missouri on September 20, 2017 at the age of 86.

Mr. Sides was a Veteran of the United States Navy.   He was a farmer, a member of Bernie Methodist Church and a resident of Bernie.

He was united in marriage to Reba Boyle in Bernie, Missouri on April 6, 1951.  Mrs. Sides preceded her husband in death on July 25, 2015.

Survivors include two sons, Gary Wayne Sides & wife Terrie, Kevin Joseph Sides & wife Tammy, all of Festus, Missouri; by one brother, Bob Sides & wife Susan of Bernie, Missouri; by five grandchildren, Laura Cooper & husband Matt, Ryan Sides & wife Jennifer, Austin Sides, Matthew Sides & wife Kaitlin, Michael Sides & friend Kitty; by three Great-Grandchildren, Bennett Cooper, Elliott Cooper and Camden Sides; also by other relatives and many friends.

Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in BERNIE, Missouri on Monday Evening, September 25, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.  

Funeral services will be conducted at Bernie United Methodist Church in Bernie on Tuesday Morning, September 26, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Dave Fowler officiating.  

Interment will follow in Bernie Cemetery with Full Military Honors.  

Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in charge of Arrangements.

In Memory of Delta Marie Ivy
Delta Marie Ivy, daughter of the late Thomas W. Whitehead and Theresa Laura Stafford Whitehead was born on September 19, 1930 at Bernie and departed this life in the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter on September 23, 2017 at the age of 87.

Mrs. Ivy attended the Lighthouse Christian Center in Dexter, had formerly worked as a waitress at the Hickory Log Restaurant in Dexter for over 30 years and was a resident of Dexter. 

She was united in marriage to John J. Ivy on August 6, 1970 at Doniphan, Missouri. Mr. Ivy preceded her in death on January 9, 1972.

Survivors include one sister, Wanda Gough of Flint, Michigan and by several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Avery Whitehead and Harold Lloyd Whitehead, by two sisters, Velta Lee Gough and Edna R. Williams. 

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 11:00 A.M. until Noon, Monday, September 25, 2017.  

Funeral services will then be conducted at Noon in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter.  

Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.

In Memory of Kimberly Marie Miller
Kimberly Marie Miller was born on November 17, 1969 in Baytown, Texas to Kenny Allen & Evelyn Cates Allen. She departed this life on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at the Malden Nursing & Rehab in Malden, Missouri at the age of 47 years 10 months and 2 days.

Kimberly Miller was employed with in home healthcare and she attended the Assembly of God Church.

On January 1, 2012 she was united in marriage to Earl Miller in Clarkton, Missouri. He survives of the home.

Her other survivors include: two Daughters: Tiffany Gough & husband, Brandon of Malden and Nikki Carpenter & husband, Joshua of Malden; two Grandchildren: Olivia Gough & Bentley Carpenter.
Parents: Kenny & Evelyn Allen of Malden; Brothers: Kenny Allen & wife, Vonda of Gideon and Bobby Allen & wife, Jennie of Malden.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 22, 2017 from 1-2 P.M. at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 P.M. at the Landess Funeral Chapel with Reverend Bruce Vinson officiating.

Interment will be in the Mt. Gilead Cemetery in Clarkton, Missouri.

In Memory of Jackie Gene Warren
Jackie Gene Warren, son of the late Jollie Reuben Warren and Lola May Rice Warren was born on November 3, 1938 in Bernie, Missouri and departed this life on September 15, 2017 at Hunter Acres in Sikeston, Missouri at the age of 78.

Mr. Warren worked in construction as a brick Layer.

Survivors include; one brother, Junior R. Warren of West Plains, Mo; by two sisters, Judy Ann Schwegler and Margie Greenwood both of Mission, Texas.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by three sisters, Dorthella Boswell, Betty Lou Voss and Janice Jackson.

Friends may call at the Rainey Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, September 22, 2017 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM.  

A Memorial service will be conducted on Friday, September 22, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the Rainey Mathis Funeral Chapel with Travis Quertermous officiating.

In Memory of Audrey Marcella Pulling
Audrey Marcella Pulling of Parma, daughter of the late Otto and Edna Ruth Zile Coffey, was born near Essex on July 11, 1921, and passed away at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter, Missouri on September 14, 2017, at the age of 96 years, 2 months, and 3 days.

Audrey had lived in Essex until 1959 when she moved to Parma. She had been a member of the First Baptist Church in Parma where she had taught Training Union, was Sunday School Director for several years, the Adult Director for many years and a member of the W.M.U at the church. She graduated from Southeast Missouri State University and was a elementary school teacher for 39 years, teaching in Stoddard County and New Madrid County. She was a member of the Parma Civic Club for Women, M.S.T.A. and N.R.T.A.

On August 7, 1943, she was married to Ivan L. Pulling in Piggott, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on February 3, 2016.

Surviving are one son & wife, Stanley & Tonja Pulling of Mountain View, Missouri; one granddaughter & husband, Kristy & Adam Howell of Bernie, Missouri; one great grandson, Christopher Sutton of Bernie, Missouri; one brother, Lewis "Bud" Coffey of Dexter; and three sisters, Martha Tucker of Grayridge, Opal Short of Neelyville and Jean Isbell of Dexter. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one brother, Curt Coffey and two sisters, Loretta Mouser and Geneva Coffey and her husband Ivan L. Pulling.

Friends may call on Monday, September 18, 2017, from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Parma, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 18, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church in Parma, Missouri with Rev. E. D. Doss of Martin, Tennessee officiating.

Interment will follow in the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
