In Memory of Priscilla Deane Williams

Priscilla Deane Williams, daughter of Louis and Ayme Bess Clark, was born on May 7, 1925.  She passed away in Winston, Georgia, on April 18, 2017, at the age of 91.  She was united in marriage to Melvin “Churn” Williams on July 4, 1942.  He preceded her in death in January 2002.

Deane lived most of her life in Bloomfield, Missouri, and worked for the Department of Children and Family Services for 25 years.  She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and loved to play bridge.  She was a long-standing member of the First Baptist Church in Bloomfield and later attended The Church at Chapelhill in Douglasville, Georgia.  Even though her later years were spent in Georgia with her daughters, she maintained close ties to the Bloomfield community and her many friends there.

Deane was preceded in death by her husband, her son, Jack Williams, her granddaughter, Michele Williams, and her brother, James Clark.  She is survived by her daughters, Judi Davis and Jayme Stewart of Winston, Georgia, her grandchildren: Scot and Kim Williams of Jefferson City, Missouri, Sandi Crawford of Jefferson City, Missouri, Mike and Becky Williams of Hillsboro, Missouri, Jason Davis of Carrollton, Georgia, David and Jayna Christopher of Thompson Station, Tennessee, Jack and Courtney Stewart of Villa Rica, Georgia; six great grandchildren: Sara Williams, Rachel Williams, Rebekah and Lydia Christopher, William and Jayden Stewart, her daughter-in-law Marilyn Williams Lotti of Jefferson City, Missouri and sister-in-law Clara Clark of Sun City, Arizona.

Visitation will be held at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home on Sunday, April 23, 2017, at 2:00 PM with the funeral following at 3:00 PM at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Mike Watkins officiating.

Interment will follow at the Bloomfield Cemetery with Rainey-Mathis in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stoddard County Children’s Home, Memorial Tribute Fund, PO Box 164, Dexter, Missouri 63841.

Leona (Lee) DuBois passed away on Monday, April 17, 2017 at the age of 83. Preceding her in death were her father: Luther Lumpkins, her mother: Ella Minks and her step-father: Otis Minks, 2 sisters: Sylvia Die and Maxine North, an infant daughter: Ava LaNelle and her husband: Ray DuBois.

Leona (Lee) DuBois was born on February 13, 1934 in Neelyville, Missouri. She was the owner/operator of Ray & Lee’s Restaurant in Malden & she was a member of the Malden Church of Christ.

On January 1, 1951 she was united in marriage to Ray DuBois in Piggott, Arkansas.

She has left behind her two daughters and their spouse’s: LaVonda & Joe Crank of Malden and Delilah & Bryon Loafman of Malden, one sister: Louella Roach of Poplar Bluff, three grandsons & their spouse’s: Tonya & Bryon Loafman II of Dexter, Joseph Crank of Gosnell, Arkansas, Chelsea and Michael Crank of Malden and one granddaughter and her spouse: Holly & Brian Wallace of Malden.

Also left behind are eleven great-granddaughters: Taylor & Jaci Crank of Benton, Jessalyn Crank of Gosnell, Arkansas, Johnna & Cameryn Berryhill of Cave City, Arkansas, Arieyanna & Savannah Crank of Malden, Bianca & Alexis Wallace of Malden and Savanna & Sierra Loafman of Dexter.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2017 the at Landess Funeral Chapel from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 P.M. with Mr. James Powell officiating.
Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.

Memorials to the Paragould Children’s Homes or St. Jude.

Edna Fay Scheible of Bloomfield, daughter of the late Ezra and Wilburn Smothers Sides, born in Dexter, Missouri on February 22, 1949, passed away at the Southeast Health Center of Stoddard County in Dexter on April 16, 2017, at the age of 68 years, 1 month and 25 days.

Edna had lived in Bloomfield and surrounding area all of her life. She had worked as the Pike Township Collector and enjoyed gardening, fishing, bird watching and crochet.

On February 18, 1964, she married Eulish Eugene “Bud” Scheible. He preceded her in death on February 1, 2008.

Surviving are one son & wife, Buddy & Deanna Scheible of Bloomfield; two daughters & husbands, Teresa & David Kight, Lisa & David Maddox all of Bell City; five grandchildren, Brooke Clary, Austin Kight & Cody Kight all of Bell City, Ethen Maddox of Oran, Blaine Scheible of Bloomfield; two great grandchildren, Cheyenne and Ava Kight both of Bell City; one brother, Ezra Wayne Sides of Roodhouse, Illinois; three sisters, Jenny Jennings of Bell City, Sue McMichaels of Marcelles, Illinois and Kathy Ehlers of Illinois. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Interment will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery near Bloomfield with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield in charge of arrangements.

Donald Ray Parks, Sr. was born December 27, 1938, left this world April 12, 2017. Son of the late Doyle Ray Parks and Sarah Bernice (Shrum) Parks. Married Alice L. Boyles July 3, 1960.

Survived by four children and their spouses. Tina (Parks) and Larry Jarrell, Penny (Parks) and Aaron Conray, Donald (Bud) and Angie (Hood) Parks, and Leebo and Sheri (Doerschlen) Parks.

Survived by ten grandchildren and their spouses, Larry Don and Melissa (Bowling) Jarrell, Kenny and Tina (Strickland) Jarrell, Brian (BJ) and Mandy (Guthrie) Crowe, Nikki (Parks) Cornelison, Ashley (Parks) and Chad Kesler, Cassie (Parks) and Adam Robinett, Mae Parks, Josh Parks, Logan Parks.  Survived by fourteen great-grandchildren and spouses Cody and Bree (Leroux) Jarrell, Allyssa Jarrell, Justin Parks, Alex Conelison, Abby Parks, Tristin Kesler, Josiah Jarrell, Ethan Jarrell, Emma Crowe, Sarah Jarrell, Addie Crowe, Elizabeth Jarrell, Laela Parks and future baby Robinett. Survived by seven siblings and their spouses. Mary Duncan, Bill and Libby (Fairchild) Parks, Shirley Burton, Ruth Parks, Karen (Sue Parks) and Kenny Waggoneer, Bobby and Lesa (Jordan) Parks, and Onie Parks. Survived by additional family and friends to numerous to mention.

One granddaughter preceded him in leaving this world, Markita Crowe.

Visitation will be on Friday April 14, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. Until 1:00 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with graveside service to follow at the Fairview Cemetery near Puxico, Missouri.

In Memory of Mildred Delois Pope
Mildred Delois Pope was born on September 5, 1924 in Risco, Missouri to the late Garl Campbell & Eva Blakeman Campbell. She departed this life on Monday, April 10 2017 at her residence in Gideon Missouri at the age of 92 years 7 months and 5 days.
 
Mildred Pope had worked for B C Manufacturing in Malden for over 20 years. She was a member of the Spoonerville Baptist Church. On February 18, 1946 in Malden, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Clarence Lysander "Pete" Pope. He preceded her in death on Thursday, December 24, 2009. 
 
Her survivors include: Two daughters Carol Burnett & husband, Bob of Kennett & Pennie Stirnaman & husband, Jerry of Dexter, two Grandchildren: Jason Stirnaman & wife, Julie of Evanston, Illinois & Kristin Stirnaman of Dexter, two Great-grandchildren: Brendan Stirnaman & Selah Stirnaman, two Sisters: Louise Collins of Malden & June Agee of Williamsville, Missouri, a Sister-in-law: Lillie Mae Campbell of Rombauer, Missouri, one Cousin: Charles Campbell of Sikeston, and several nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, 2 sisters: Lillian Jo Campbell & Mae Williams and 4 brothers: J. L. Campbell, Rod Campbell, Shorty Campbell & Frank Campbell.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 14, 2017 at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden from 12-1 P.M.

Funeral services will follow at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Larry Keith Landers officiating.

Interment will be in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.
