
Reaven Janette McKee, daughter of the late Marvin and Earl Virginia (Brumlow) Carney, was born January 9, 1926 in Dexter, Missouri and departed this life at the Highland Assisted Living in Glasgow, KY on April 3, 2017 at the age of 91.
Mrs. McKee lived most of her life in Dexter, MO. She was a member of the Dexter Methodist Church. She moved to Glasgow, KY on June 21, 2014. She was presently attending Coral Hill Baptist Church. She worked at Ben Franklin Dime Store for 34 years.
She was united in marriage to Floyd C. McKee on April 19, 1942, who preceded her in death on January 6, 2001.
Survivors include one son, Floyd Dennis McKee (Donna) of Horse Cave, KY., one daughter-in-law, Kathy McKee of Lapeer, MI, 5 grandchildren, Michele McKee Richardson (Tim) of Glasgow, KY.,
Anthony Marshall (Anne) of Nashville, TN, Brad McKee of Boise, ID, Laruen McKee of St. Louis, MO, and Sydney McKee of Auburn Hills, MI. Three great-grandchildren, Cody Richardson, Jacob Richardson, Alex Richardson all of Glasgow, KY. Special caregivers from Glasgow, KY are Kathy Slaughter and Kristi McNeil and ALL the staff at Highland Assisted Living. Special friend Mary Margaret Wolfe of Glasgow, KY. Special friends from Dexter, MO are Vivian McCarty and Roberta Hutchinson.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Gordon McKee, one grandson, Dennis Mitchel McKee and a special caregiver (cousin) Phyllis Stewart.
Visitation will be held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, MO from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 6, 2017.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 7, 2017 in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Brother Ray Woodie from Glasgow, KY officiating.
Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.

Ruth Townsend, daughter of the late Clyde Burke and Bertha Triplett Burke was born on February 1, 1931 in Dexter and departed this life on April 2, 2017 in the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau at the age of 86.
Mrs. Townsend had worked at the Brown Shoe Company and International Shoe. She was an avid Cardinal fan, who lived long enough to see the Cardinals win their opening night game against the Cubs. Her family invites everyone to dress in their favorite Cardinal gear, for her services on Wednesday.
On December 20, 1957, she was united in marriage to Clifford Townsend in Dexter. Mr. Townsend resides of their home in Dexter.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, John Alan Mince of Titus, Alabama; by two daughters, Connie Wills of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and Linda Klaproth of Jackson, Missouri; by one brother, Earl Burke of Six Lakes, Michigan; by two sisters, Mable Deno of Burton, Michigan and Velma Glenn of Davison, Michigan; by seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Paul Burke, Burl Burke and James Burke, and by two sisters, Thelma Sullivan and Martha Burke.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. (Noon).
Funeral services will then be conducted on Wednesday at 12:00 P.M. (Noon) in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. James Malloy officiating.
Interment will follow in the Triplett Cemetery.

Henry Franklin Patterson, son of the late Cecil Ray Patterson and Novella Gilliland Patterson was born on February 9, 1941 in Blodgett, Missouri and departed this life on April 1, 2017 at the John J Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri at the age 76.
Mr. Patterson was a Veteran of the United States Navy and was a retired Truck Driver. He was a resident of Bell City, and was known around town as a giving man, who frequently bought coats and jackets, to give to those in need.
Mr. Patterson is survived by one daughter, Melissa Cherry (Dave) of Scott City; by five grandchildren; by three great-grandchild and his loving dog, Chase.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Keith Franklin Patterson and by one brother, Cecil Patterson.
A grave-side memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, with full Military Honors.

Mary Rodgers Ford of Parma, daughter of the late Cecil Buren and Mary Romines Melton, was born in Kennett, Missouri on December 21, 1944, and passed away at the Gideon Care Center in Gideon on April 1, 2017, at the age of 72 years, 3 months and 11 days.
She had lived in Southeast Missouri and Parma all of her life. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Parma and had worked in the Deli at Wallace & Owens Supermarket.
She was first married to Dennis Rodgers. He preceded her in death in 1988. She then married Willie Ford in 1991. He preceded her in death in 2008.
Surviving are one son & wife, Dennis Rodgers of Caruthersville; two grandchildren, Katie and Garrett Rodgers; one great grandchild, Grayson Rodgers; and one sister, Susan Rackley of Gideon.
Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive. In addition to her parents and husbands she was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Melton.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 3, 2017, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the First Baptist Church in Parma, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 3, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Parma.
Interment will be in the Parma Cemetery in Parma, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
