Vera Gilbow Ross, daughter of the late Roosevelt Hart and Sylvia Ramsey Hart was born on February 14, 1932 near Parma, Missouri and departed this life on February 6, 2017 at Winchester Place in Bernie at the age of 84. 

Mrs. Ross was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Dexter.

Survivors include; two sons, Kerry Gilbow and wife Carol of Dexter; Kirk Gilbow and wife Judy of Ft. Collins, Co; one grandson, Kody Gilbow and wife Cortney, two great-grandsons, Kemper Gilbow and Keller Gilbow of Columbia, Missouri; one brother, Miles Ezra Hart and wife Wanda of Sebring, Florida; two sisters, Helen McClintick and husband Bill of Williamsburg, Va., Ruth Jennings of Dardeen Prairie, Mo.; on step-granddaughter, Bobbi Adams; two step-great-grandsons, Cameron & Dillion Adams.  She leaves many loving nieces and nephews and friends.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, Keith Gilbow; one brother, Hank Hart; and two sisters, Clarice Goldsmith and Lucille Bennett.

A memorial service will be held in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 3:00 P.M.
