
Charles D. Gromer, son of the late Ernest Gromer and Addie Mason Gromer, was born on January 31, 1938, and departed this life on December 17, 2016, at Southeast Health in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 78.
He served in the Missouri National Guard, was an employee at W.W. Wood Products in Dudley, Missouri, and a current resident of Jackson, Missouri, formally of Dexter.
He was united in marriage to Bonnie Jean Gromer on October 29, 1965, in Dexter, Missouri, and she preceded him in death on April 3, 2013.
Survivors include, one son, Timothy Dale Gromer (Suanne) of Jackson, Missouri; by two daughters - Tammy Dale Six (Johnny) of New Madrid, Missouri, and Tracey Diane Gromer of Dexter, Missouri; by two brothers - Allen Gromer (Norma Jean) of Union, Missouri and Cecil Gromer (Margaret) of Columbia, Missouri; by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers - Howard Gromer, Alva Gromer, and Harold Gromer; by four sisters - Mary Gromer, Virgie Allen, Annie Pruitt, and Dorothy Edwards.

Allen Bolin of Bloomfield, son of Frances A. Pullum Bolin Hester and the late Scott Bolin, was born in Dexter, Missouri on June 28, 1965, and passed way at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau on December 28, 2016 at the age of 51 years and 6 months.
Allen had lived in the Bloomfield area all of his life. He enjoyed landscaping and had attended the Lighthouse Christian Center in Dexter.
On April 5, 2010, he was married to Jolene Hillis Jones in Piggott, Arkansas.
Surviving are his wife, Jolene Bolin of Bloomfield; mother, Frances A. Hester of Bloomfield; two sons, Eric & Jeffery Allen Bolin both of Bloomfield; three step-daughters, Tabitha Jones of Malden, Katlynn Jones of Poplar Bluff, Sonya Jones of Bloomfield; one brother & wife, Winfield “Windy” & Lisa Bolin of Essex; three sisters & husbands, Kim & Kenneth Johnson of Bloomfield, Kay & James Robbins of Bell City; Stephanie & Terry Robinson of Wappapello. Other relatives and friends also survive.
Friends may call on Monday, January 2, 2017, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. Sue Welborn of Bloomfield, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Walker Cemetery in Bloomfield with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield in charge of arrangements.

Kathleen Marie Kinder, daughter of the late Henry Wesley Kinder and Nettie Jane White, was born in Sylva, Missouri on January 11, 1917 and departed this life at Cedargate Healthcare in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on December 28, 2016 at the age of 99.
Ms. Kinder was a retired Elementary School Teacher, having taught in Hazelwood, Missouri, Scott City, Missouri, Bernie, Missouri and Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She was of Non-denominational faith.
Survivors include four nephews, Elwade Rhodes of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Wayne Kinder of North Carolina, Dale Kinder of Arkansas, Rupert Kinder of Michigan and Harold Kinder of Arizona; by four nieces, Jonell Irvin of Malden, Missouri, Jane Matthews of Wisconsin, Jan Schlinder of Missouri and Renne Pike of Utah; also by other relatives.
She was preceded in death other than by her parents, by four brothers and three sisters.

Bob Abernathy of Dexter, Missouri, son of the late Robert Homer and Fern Maude McClain Abernathy, was born in Newark, Arkansas on December 10,1935 and passed away on December 25, 2016, at his son's home in Dexter, at the age of 81 years and 15 days.
Mr. Abernathy had lived in Dexter most of his life. He had owned and operated Abernathy Welding in Dexter for almost fifty years. He loved welding and hunting. He was of the Southern Baptist faith.
He was married to Lorene Riggins at Dexter. She preceded him in death on May 30, 2006.
Surviving are his son and fiance, Tyler Abernathy and Cindy Marsh of Dexter; two grandchildren, Lee Marsh and Thaylen Abernathy both of Dexter; and one brother, Gene Abernathy of Mountain Home, Arkansas. Other relatives and many friends also survive.

Marla Kaye Robinson, daughter of James E. Robinson and Hazel Hamby Robinson of Dexter was born on January 31, 1958 in Dexter, Missouri and departed this life on December 23, 2016 at the Dexter Living Center in Dexter at the age of 58 years.
Marla attended the Light House Christian Center in Dexter.
Besides her parents, survivors include four brothers, Rick Robinson of Indianapolis, Indiana, David Robinson of Dexter, Terry Robinson of Wappapello, Missouri, and Daniel Robinson of Broseley, Missouri; one sister, Jamie Hutchison of Dexter; also by other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will then be conducted on Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tim Russell officiating.
