
Delma Madine Williams, daughter of the late Dee Vess Griffin and Florence Corene Horn Griffin was born in New Madrid County, Missouri on October 7, 1936 and departed this life at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on December 20, 2015 at the age of 79.
Mrs. Williams had been a cook at Bernie Public Schools until her retirement and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Bernie United Methodist Church and a resident of Bernie.
She was united in marriage to L.B. Williams in Flint, Michigan on January 26, 1956. Mr. Williams preceded his wife in death on September 29, 2011.
Survivors include two sons, L. Glen Williams of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and Larry Dee Williams of Dexter, Missouri; by one daughter, Debbie Tipton of Dexter, Missouri; by four brothers, Dee Griffin of Bernie, Missouri, Dorman Griffin of Tampa, Florida, Doyle Griffin of Bernie, Missouri and Dale Griffin of Dexter, Missouri; by three sisters, Dorothy Burks of Dexter, Missouri, Doris Bowman of Dallas, Texas and Donnis Barker of Arnold, Missouri; by two grandchildren, Darrin Tipton and Julie & Dustin Hopkins all of Jackson, Missouri; by three great-grandchildren, Sarah Tipton, Wyatt Hopkins and Walker Hopkins; also by other relatives and friends.
Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, Missouri on Tuesday Evening, December 22, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon, December 23, 2015 starting at 2:00 P.M. Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
