Christa M. Edmonds, daughter of the late Ralph Parks and Wilma Margaret Richardson Parks was born in Bernie, Missouri on January 30, 1938 and departed this life at her residence in Bernie, Missouri on November 6, 2015 at the age of 77.

Mrs. Edmonds had worked at Purolator Manufacturing Company, was a homemaker and a member of Bernie Nazarene Church.

She was united in marriage to Rev. Arvil Edmonds in Bernie, Missouri on December 26, 1998. Rev. Edmonds preceded his wife in death on April 21, 2006.

Survivors include one son, Mike Orr & wife Lucinda of Bernie, Missouri; one step-son, Edward Allen Edmonds & wife Becky of Bernie, Missouri; by one daughter-in-law, Debra Biggs of
Bernie, Missouri; by five step-daughters, Susan Rebecca Clark & husband Dee of Bloomfield, Missouri, Shirley Rosetta Williams and Victoria Darlene Hill both of Bernie, Missouri, Cathy Lynn Edmonds of Dexter, Missouri; by six grandchildren, Monica, Joshua, Ryan, Santina, Tracey and Kristopher; by ten step-grandchildren, Alicia, Ian, Daniel, Latisha, Stephanie, Randy, Christopher, Mandy, Jeffrey and Misti; by seven Great-grandchildren, Jaden, Jordan, Jessica, Mathew, JoshuaRyan, Jasper and Joslin; by 24 great-grandchildren, Will, James, Mady, Chloe, Oniece, Edward, Cody, Austin, Devin, Kelsey, Adalyn, Beau, Schuylar, Shelby, Bellamy, Alyssa, Hailey, Braden, Aden, Erin, Elena, Jacquin, Jaron and Waylon; also by other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death other than by her parents, and her husband, by one son, Steve Orr; by one great-grandson, Phanes Orr; by two step grandchildren, Erin Powell and Jarrett Frazier.

Friends may call at the Nazarene Church in Bernie, Missouri on Monday, November 9, 2015 from 11:30 A.M. until 2:00 P.M.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Bernie Nazarene Church at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Steve Fitzpatrick and Rev. Don Wells Officiating.

Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
