Helen Louise Becking, daughter of the late Orville Mickey and Pearl Zimmerman Mickey was born in Bernie, Missouri on June 4, 1931 and departed this life at her residence in Bernie, Missouri on September 29, 2015 at the age of 84.

Mrs. Becking was a Homemaker, enjoyed gardening & oil painting.  She was a member of the Bernie Church of Christ for many years.  Thirty years ago she painted the Mural in the Church Baptistery.

She was united in marriage to Joseph “Joe” George Becking Jr. in Piggott, Arkansas in the month of July in 1950.  Mr. Becking preceded his wife in death on July 25, 1995.

Survivors include four daughters, Kathy Hampton & husband Larry,  their family, Lesley & Don O’Daniel, Zachary & Madelyn; Christine & Jeff Brownlee & son Steven; Louie & Rhonda Hampton & Son Jarrod; Lynette Thomason & Husband Joseph, their family Paige & Bill Williams & Maddox; Lisa Britt & husband Rodney, their family, Emily Massey, Cally Vandergriff & Son Landon & Betsy Britt; Jill Snider & husband Keith, their children, Olivia, Ellen, Garrett & Jackson; by one sister, Marilyn Wuenscher; also by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death other than by her parents and her husband, by two brothers, Larry Mickey and Glendale Mickey; by one sister, Laverne Phelps.

Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, Missouri on Thursday, October 1, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. 

Graveside services will be conducted on Friday Morning, October 2, 2015 starting at 10:30 A.M. with Stan Dauck officiating.
