
Freddie Bess (Johnson) Hogue was born to this life on December 11, 1924. She passed to eternity on July 4, 2015 at the age of 90 years, 6 months, and 23 days due to complications of Alzheimer’s.
She was the daughter of Vick and Faye Johnson and the wife of Ralph S. Hogue. She had two sons, George Johnson Hogue and James Victor Hogue.
Freddie spent her life as a home-maker, mother, and pastor’s wife, working outside of the home at various positions as needed. She was an avid fan of crossword puzzles and loved decorating her home. She loved the west and had lived in Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, and Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Peggy Zoe, husband and son, George.
She is survived by daughter-in-law, Waynda Hogue and granddaughter, Jennifer Kimball, her son, the Rev. Dr. James V. (Jim) Hogue, daughter-in-law, Rev. Rayla Stewart Hogue, and grandson, James Stewart (Jimtu) Hogue, and other family and friends.
She will be interred at Fairview Cemetery, Gainesville, Texas.

She had lived in the Dexter and Bloomfield area most of her life. She was a member of the Sweet Prospect General Baptist Church in Dexter. She loved gardening, sewing and crafting for her family.
On June 13, 2009 she was remarried to Bobbie Gene Jackson in Dexter.
Surviving are her husband, Bobbie Gene Jackson of the Veteran's Home in Cape Girardeau; two daughters and son in law, Starla Mairs of Bloomfield, Monica & Dennis Thornton of Essex; eight grandchildren, Angela Mitchell, Derrick Rodgers, Amantha Dunning, Deana Davis, Natasha Miller, Andrew Thornton, Joshua Thornton and Riley Thornton; two sisters, Betty Lucille Massey of Bloomfield, Gracie Jones of Moulton, Alabama; and one brother and wife, John H. & Dorothy Dunning of Lodi, Wisconsin; and her cat, Tag, who she loved. Other relatives and friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by two children in infancy, Tareca & Peggy.
Friends may visit on Monday, July 6, 2015, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. Ray Rowland of Dexter officiating.
Interment will follow at the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield, Missouri in charge of arrangements.

Farrell Jackson, son of the late Lon and Jessie Gertrude Parks Jackson was born on April 22, 1931 in Aid, Missouri and departed this life on July 4, 2015 at the Southeast Health of Cape Girardeau at the age of 84.
Mr. Jackson was a Veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Korean War. He was an active member of the Liberty Hill General Baptist Church in Aid, he was a farmer and a resident of Dexter.
On January 5, 1951 he was united in marriage to Doris Jean Cryts in Dexter. Mrs. Jackson survives of their home.
Besides his wife he is survived by one daughter, Sandra Hendricks and her husband Brent of Miner, Missouri; by their daughter in law Melanie Jackson Stoelting and her husband Keith Stoelting of Dudley; by one brother, Gerald and his wife Wanda Jackson of Dexter; by one sister, Pauline Gaskins of Dexter; by four grandchildren, Brooke Buchanan, Nathan Jackson, Blake Hendricks and Natalie Woodbury and by four great-grandchildren, Jake Buchanan, Piper Buchanan, Riley Buchanan and Harper Jackson.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Keith Alan Jackson.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel on Monday, July 6, 2015 from 9:00 A.M. until 10:30 A.M.
Funeral services will follow at 10:30 A.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Joe Payne officiating.
Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with full military honors.

She had lived in Bloomfield for many years before moving to Dexter in 1989.
She was a member of the Grace Fellowship Church in Dexter. She spent her life as a loving mother and homemaker for her family.
On January 1, 1973, Frances was married to Johnny Mitchell in Dexter. He preceded her in death on December 3, 1982.
Surviving are four sons, Steve Houart of Bernie, Ronnie Houart, Ricky Joe Bracken and Allen Mitchell all of Dexter; one daughter, Sarina Cope of Morley, Missouri; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Earl Houart, Jr. of Dexter, William Paul Houart of Fredericktown, Missouri; two sisters, Betty Lemons of Brunswick, Ohio and Jane Mobley of Doniphan, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by one sister Billie Presley.

Marie Louise Medcalf, 90, was born in Essex, Missouri, on March 14, 1925, to John Logan Kirkpatrick and Ida (Sifford) Kirkpatrick.
She was united in marriage to Gene Medcalf on June 30th, 1941.
Marie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and she was a devoted Christian. Marie attended The First Church of the Nazarene in Dexter. She was a former member of the First United Methodist Church of Dexter and a resident of Dexter.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother, John Luther Kirkpatrick.
She is survived by her children and their spouses: Dixie Hicks (Lamar), Bob Medcalf and Lana Clark (Tommy). Marie is also survived by nine grandchildren: Laura Harris, Brad Hicks, Lana Lynn VanEgeren, Doug Hicks, Mitzi Garrett, Christopher Medcalf, Ashley Camp, Thomas Clark and Lynn Ellyn Hess, as well as nine great-grandchildren. Nancy Hall and other family members, as well as many close friends, also survive.

Former Pastor Jerrold Lake will offer the memorial service. Interment will follow in the Essex Cemetery with Cousin Larry Hinman providing graveside rites.
