Fern M. McGuire, daughter of the late Harold Shipman and Dorothy Richards Shipman, was born on September 11, 1962 in Advance, Missouri and departed this life on February 24, 2015 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 52.
Mrs. McGuire worked at Fuwell Residential Care and was a resident of Dexter.
On December 25, 2005, she was united in marriage to James K. McGuire. Mr. McGuire survives of the home.In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Aaron Shepherd of Dexter and Timothy Shepherd of Bloomfield; by three daughters, Liberty Shepherd of Dexter, Amber Craft of Bloomfield and Crystal Brown of Bloomfield; by two brothers, Claude O’Dell-Beagley of Texas and Christopher Beagley of Bowling Green, Missouri; by two sisters, Connitta Beagley of St.Louis and Carol Shipman-Fouts of Flippen, Arkansas; and by ten grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Monday, March 2, 2015 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel at 3:00 P.M. Interment will follow in the Puxico Cemetery.
