He had lived in Bloomfield before moving to Dexter three years ago. He was a Baptist and enjoyed fishing and his family, and was known as the family joker. He had worked as a cook at the Hickory House Restaurant.
On February 24, 1964, he was married to Judy Moody in Clarksville, Mississippi.
Surviving are his wife, Judy Daniels of Dexter, Missouri; one daughter & spouse, Donna Daniels & Angie Diamond of Dexter; four grandchildren & spouse, Heather Daniels & Evan Quoos, Nicole Rickman, Nickie Scott and Amy Green; four great grandchildren; three brothers and wives, Bob & Martha Daniels of Collierville, Tennessee, Herman Daniels of Senatobia, Mississippi, David & Reba Daniels of Millington, Tennessee; three sisters and husband, Pauline Roberts of Brighton, Tennessee, Rebecca & Nick Harris of Munford, Tennessee and Carol Munyon of Morley, Missouri. Many other relatives and friends also survive.
He was preceded in death by one son, Ronnie Daniels and one grandson, Christopher Daniels.

Patricia L. Shipman Elmore was born on December 29, 1935 in Dexter, Missouri to the late Edward M. and Doris L. (Tweedy) Shively. She died on January 22, 2015 at her home.
Mrs. Elmore graduated from Bloomfield High School and Southeast Missouri State University and was a retired librarian with the Dexter Public Schools. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Bloomfield; had served on the Cotton Bowl Area Girl Scout Council; the Bloomfield Library Board; and on the early committee of the Stars and Stripes Museum/Library. She also was a member of the Women’s Federation Club of Bloomfield. One of her major interests included geneaology research. She has published four books on her family.
In 1953, she married Lee E. Shipman who preceded her in death in 1985. In 1988 she married William M. Elmore who preceded her in death in 2000.
She is survived by three children, Carol Rozier of Osage Beach, Missouri, Katherine Wethington of Dexter, Missouri and Trent Shipman of Bloomfield, Missouri; and by one brother, Edward Shively of Little Rock, Arkansas. Her surviving grandchildren include Carissa Rozier Danner, Bradley Rozier, Trentlee Shipman and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Erin L. Shipman Powell in 2007.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Alice Fowler officiating.
Burial will be in the Shipman Plot of Robert Hill Cemetery south of Bloomfield.

Mary Ellen Boner was born September 23, 1942 in Kennett, Missouri to the late Fred Henry Green & Bertha May Young.
Mary Ellen Boner was a self employed child care provider and she was member of the Church of the Nazarene in Bernie, Missouri. On July 10, 1960 in Malden, Missouri she was united in marriage to Thomas Boner.
He survives of the home in Bernie. Her other survivors include: 3 Daughters: Becky Searby & husband, Warren of Kings Port, Tennessee, Judy Fralick & husband, Bob of Dexter & Jennifer Alberson & husband, Randy of Bernie. 6 Grandchildren: James Fralick, Alicia Jackson, Ryan Searby, Kayla Nash, Cole Nash & Hannah Alberson. 4 Great-grandchildren: Keller Fralick, Robert Fralick, Kaden Jackson & Zach Jackson. 3 Sisters: Fern Long of Gideon, Mavis Berry of Arnold & Mina Chandler & husband, Gene of South County, Missouri. 1 Brother: Kenneth Robinson & wife, Sharron of Perryville, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 26, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden, Missouri.

Interment will be in the Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, Missouri.
Dale Wooten, son of the late Christopher Noah Wooten and Mamie Henderson Wooten was born on August 11, 1939 in Norfolk, Arkansas and passed away on January 23, 2015 at his residence in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 75 years.
Mr. Wooten was a farmer for many years. He was affiliated with the Lighthouse Christian Center in Dexter and a resident of Dexter.
On December 31, 1959 he was united in marriage to Della Mae Walker in Hayti, Missouri. Mrs. Wooten preceded him in death.
Survivors include one son, Delbert Wooten and wife Cindy of Malden, Missouri; by two daughters, Eloise Sue Dauer and husband Andrew of Labadie, Missouri and Ella Dix of Dexter; by one sister, Patsy Watkins of Hayti, Missouri; and by nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Kelvin Edward Wooten; three brothers, Eldridge Wooten, Finis Wooten, and Loyd Wooten; by four sisters, Christine Beck, Fern Lackey, Louise Cartwright and Edna Mae Wooten.
Friends may call Tuesday January 27, 2015 from Noon until 2:00 P.M. at the Lighthouse Christian Center in Dexter.
Memorial service will be conducted on Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. in the Lighthouse Christian Center in Dexter with Rev. Tim Russell officiating.

Martha Mae Palmer, daughter of the late Leslie Spence Day and Ethelyn Dillingham Day was born on January 1, 1928 in Rural Dexter and went to be with Jesus on January 23, 2015 at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau at the age of 87.
She was born a New Year’s baby in the year of 1928. She liked to say that it was so cold that night the calves’ tails froze off. She was raised in a Christ centered home in Dexter and she remained in her beliefs in Christ and the love of small town bonds. Mrs. Palmer graduated valedictorian of her class. Mrs. Palmer met her husband on a Greyhound bus while traveling to college. It was love at first sight that lasted sixty-eight years of holy matrimony.
Mrs. Palmer had many interests during her lifetime. She loved working in her flower gardens and yard, cooking, crocheting, sewing, and loved preparing home cooked meals for her family and friends. She loved traveling with her husband as snowbirds and living the RV life as well as visiting her family in Florida, Mississippi and Tennessee.
Mrs. Palmer was a child of the most high God, and a lover of the scripture Philippians 4:13: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. She learned about the love of Christ Jesus early on in the First United Methodist Church and she remained in this faith, where for many years, she dedicated her life to the children’s choir, the bell choir, United Methodist Women, and making sure her children all came to know and love our Heavenly Father. She shared her faith with many loving friends and family members. She later joined the Second General Baptist Church, now called The Risen Church in Dexter, where she found comfort in the message, and being washed in the blood of Jesus Christ.
On September 17, 1946 she was united in marriage to Dr. Leonard Palmer in Dexter. Dr. Palmer survives of their home in Dexter.
Besides her husband she is survived by her three children, Linda Palmer Cox of Dexter, Len and wife Marty Palmer of Crystal River, Florida and Pam and husband Cary Ivins of Hermosa, South Dakota; by three grandchildren, Leonard Palmer III, Bart Cox and Amanda Agnitsch; by eight great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; and by many faithful friends and relatives.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Jane Tardiff and by one grandchild, John Jeffrey Cox.
