Dale Wooten

Dale Wooten, son of the late Christopher Noah Wooten and Mamie Henderson Wooten was born on August 11, 1939 in Norfolk, Arkansas and passed away on January 23, 2015 at his residence in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 75 years.

Mr. Wooten was a farmer for many years.  He was affiliated with the Lighthouse Christian Center in Dexter and a resident of Dexter.

On December 31, 1959 he was united in marriage to Della Mae Walker in Hayti, Missouri.  Mrs. Wooten preceded him in death.

Survivors include one son, Delbert Wooten and wife Cindy of Malden, Missouri; by two daughters, Eloise Sue Dauer and husband Andrew of Labadie, Missouri and Ella Dix of Dexter; by one sister, Patsy Watkins of Hayti, Missouri; and by nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Kelvin Edward Wooten; three brothers, Eldridge Wooten, Finis Wooten, and  Loyd Wooten; by four sisters, Christine Beck, Fern Lackey, Louise Cartwright and Edna Mae Wooten.

Friends may call Tuesday January 27, 2015 from Noon until 2:00 P.M. at the Lighthouse Christian Center in Dexter. 

Memorial service will be conducted on Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. in the Lighthouse Christian Center in Dexter with Rev. Tim Russell officiating.

Interment will follow at the Dexter Cemetery.
