
Ladell Norman, son of the late Everett Norman and Estella Smith Norman was born on February 12, 1929 in Paragould, Arkansas and passed away on December 13, 2014 at his residence in Dexter at the age of 85.
Mr. Norman was a farmer and a member of the New Hope General Baptist Church. He enjoyed working with leather and horses.
He was united in marriage to Geraldine “Gerri” Ott on October 28, 1948 in Piggott, Arkansas. Mrs. Norman preceded him in death on August 21, 2001. He was then united in marriage to Helen Cannon Lane on October 23, 2003 in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Mrs. Norman survives of the home in Dexter.
Besides his wife he is survived by three daughters, Carla Ruth Williamson of Gonzales, Louisiana, Carol Lynn (Garry) Brown of Dexter and Christy Elane (David) Ritch of Dexter; by three step-daughters, Katherine (Dan) Hussey of Henderson, Nevada, Vicky (Mal) Singer of Henderson, Nevada and Patricia (Bill) Hilt of Pontoon Beach, Illinois; by one brother, Terry Norman of Pontoon Beach, Illinois; by five sisters, Mildred Taylor of Waterloo, Illinois, Joan Buehlor of Volmar, Illinois, Patricia Argus of Evansville, Illinois, Ella Griffin of Saint Lucius, Florida and Sharon Hooker of Evansville, Illinois; by five grandchildren, Cara Merritt, Brad Williamson, Amanda Germann, Deidre Thompson and Matthew Ritch; by two step-grandchildren, Wes Blankenship and Brian Pounds; by six great-grandchildren and one step great-grandchild.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 from 12:00 NOON until 2:00 P.M.
Funeral services will then be conducted at 2:00 P.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel.
Interment will follow in the Essex Cemetery.

Gerald Lynn Hessling, son of the late Ralph “Eugene” Hessling, Sr. and Freddie Pearl Lucy Hessling, was born on March 22, 1950 in Bell City, Missouri and departed this life on December 6, 2014 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau at the age of 64.
Mr. Hessling had worked as a heavy equipment operator and was a resident of Bloomfield. He enjoyed St. Louis Cardinal Baseball and was a former coach of a Little League team.
On March 10, 1972, he was united in marriage to Sue Bufford in Bell City, Missouri. Mrs. Hessling survives of the home.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four brothers, Ralph Hessling, Jr. and his wife Judy, Ronnie Hessling and his wife Patricia, Everett Hessling and his wife Ann and Gary Hessling and his wife Arlene, all of Dexter.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Vonda Jean Hessling.

Tim Russell officiating. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.

Mr. Medler had lived in lived in Dexter where he owned and operated Medler's Cleaners. He retired and moved to Poplar Bluff 30 years ago.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff and the Sunshine Sunday School class. He was an avid golfer, loved dogs and animals, gardening and was also an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan.
He married Corita Marcella Eagan on May 15, 1938 in Piggott, Arkansas and she preceded him in death on August 10, 1968. He was then married to Katherine Kirkbride Spears on September, 19, 1970, she preceded him in death on August 12, 1983. He then married Louise Thomas Shull on March 23, 1984, in Poplar Bluff.
Surviving are his wife, Louise Medler of Poplar Bluff; two sons, Ronald W. Medler of Cape Girardeau, Roger Douglas Medler of Dexter; one daughter, Glen Ellen Nasrallah of Chicago, Illinois; step daughter, Debi Shull Barker of Poplar Bluff; step son, James Shull of Harrisburg, Illinois; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister, Mildred Wheeler of Dexter.
Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Leroy, Everett, R. C. and Chet Medler and one sister Edith Medler.
Friends may visit Saturday, December 6, 2014, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 6, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri with the Dr. William Vail of Poplar Bluff, Missouri officiating.
Interment with be in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.

She was raised in the Cahokia, Illinois area and lived most of her adult life in Missouri. She had lived Poplar Bluff for many years before moving to Dudley twelve years ago.
On July 29, 1981, she was married to James G. Avery in St. Louis, Missouri. He preceded her in death on December 30, 2004.
Surviving are one daughter, Tammy Fee of Dudley, one granddaughter, Brandy Fee of Dudley, and four great grandchildren. Other relatives and friends also survive.
Memorial graveside services will be held Monday, December 8, 2014, at 2:00 pm at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Buddy Heaton of Bloomfield officiating.
Interment will follow in the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield in charge of arrangements.

Jovada June Kincy, daughter of the late James Earl Kincy and Hazel Garner Kincy, was born on July 24, 1940 in Dexter, Missouri and departed this life on December 3, 2014 at Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter at the age of 74.
Ms. Kincy worked at Wal-Mart as an associate for fourteen years and was a resident of Dexter.
She is survived by three brothers, Bernard Leon Kincy and his wife Eva of Sikeston, Missouri, Gervis Kincy of Granite City, Illinois and Zane Autrey Kincy and his wife Mary Ruth of Malden, Missouri; and by three sisters, Lurlyne Snider of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Myrna Fields of Dexter, Missouri and Brenda Kincy of Sikeston, Missouri.
