
She had lived in Collinsville, Illinois until moving to Bloomfield in 2001. She had worked as home maker through Continued Care and was a Baptist. She enjoyed Sewing, Knitting, quilting, crocheting, fishing, camping and crafts.
On June 14, 2002, she was married to Ron Wells in Bloomfield, Missouri.
Surviving are her husband, Ron Wells of Bloomfield; three daughters, Tammie Robinson of Dexter, Sheri Hahs of Bloomfield, Debra Payne of Effingham, Illinois; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; one brother, Thomas French of Collinsville, Illinois; two sisters, Brenda Turner of Bloomfield and Sharon Rushing of Sparta, Illinois. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one infant grandson, Kaden Hahs.

Damon Burks, Sr., son of the late Benjamin Franklin and Mary Louise Kinnison Burks, was born on April 6, 1940, in Holland, Missouri and passed away on December 11, 2013, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri at the age of 73 years, 8 months and 5 days.
He had lived in the Bloomfield area most of his life. He was a member of the Living Water Worship Center in Bloomfield.
On June 13, 1958, he was married to Shirley Jenkins in New Madrid, Missouri.
Surviving are his wife, Shirley Burks of Bloomfield; one son, Damon Burks, Jr. of Bloomfield; one daughter, Cheryl White of Bloomfield; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one brother, Joseph Burks of Bridgeman, Michigan; and one sister, Mary Morefield of Sikeston. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one son, David Burks.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2013, 1:00 until 2:00 pm at the Living Water Worship Center in Bloomfield, Missouri.

He was raised in the Bloomfield community, he moved to Bethalto, Illinois where he worked and raised his family, he retired as a machinist from Nixdorff Chain and moved to Dudley, Missouri. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force.
He was married to Betty Jo Crossfield in Dupo, Illinois on November 23, 1957, she preceded him in death on May 30, 2010.
Surviving are four sons, John L. Green of Brighton, Illinois, Rick Green of Dudley, Kenneth Green of Hartford, Illinois, Eric Green of East Alton, Illinois; four daughters, Vicki Dickinson and Kathy Green both of Alton, Illinois, Dawn Unterbrink of Bethalto, Illinois, Debbie Bolt of Clarksville, Tennessee; twenty-eight grandchildren; forty-eight great grandchildren; four sisters, Joyce Fleetwood of Henderson, Nevada, Shelby Monroe of Bloomfield, Judy DeMarsh of Cape Girardeau; Lois Holden of Dexter.
He was preceded in death by three children, Rosetta Olsen, Paula Green, and Gary Green; one grandson, Kenneth William Tolbert, one great grandson, Trey Richards, one sister, Doris Thomas and one brother, James L. Green.

He had lived in St. Louis following his discharge from the United States Army in 1969. He had lived in the Parma area for the last 20 years. He was a Christian and was baptized at the Camel General Baptist Church where he attended church. He loved to be outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and running with his dogs. He also loved his family and was affectionately known as "Papa Joe" to the whole family.
On November 9, 1995 he married Debra Renea Flowers in Piggott, Arkansas. She survives in the home.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Flowers of Parma; five sons, Michael Johnson of Greenville, Missouri, Bobby Johnson and Chris Johnson both of Dexter, Missouri, Nathan Graves of Rockford, Illinois, and Brandon Graves of Olathe, Kansas; one daughter, Kathryn Moore of Puxico, Missouri; four grandchildren, Jamie Lynn Moore and Casey Moore both of Puxico, Missouri, and Riley and Madison Graves both of Rockford, Illinois; one sister, Betty Nowell of Mt. Olive, Illinois; and one brother, Robert Johnson of Osceola, Arkansas. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Sutton.
