
He had lived in St. Louis following his discharge from the United States Army in 1969. He had lived in the Parma area for the last 20 years. He was a Christian and was baptized at the Camel General Baptist Church where he attended church. He loved to be outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and running with his dogs. He also loved his family and was affectionately known as "Papa Joe" to the whole family.
On November 9, 1995 he married Debra Renea Flowers in Piggott, Arkansas. She survives in the home.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Flowers of Parma; five sons, Michael Johnson of Greenville, Missouri, Bobby Johnson and Chris Johnson both of Dexter, Missouri, Nathan Graves of Rockford, Illinois, and Brandon Graves of Olathe, Kansas; one daughter, Kathryn Moore of Puxico, Missouri; four grandchildren, Jamie Lynn Moore and Casey Moore both of Puxico, Missouri, and Riley and Madison Graves both of Rockford, Illinois; one sister, Betty Nowell of Mt. Olive, Illinois; and one brother, Robert Johnson of Osceola, Arkansas. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Sutton.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2013, from 1:00 to 1:30 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

He had lived in Sedona, Arizona before moving to Dexter 12 years ago. He had worked for Quest Telephone Company.
On August 20, 1970, he was married to Gay Cheryl Ann Smith in Las Vegas, Nevada. She survives in the home.
Surviving are his wife, Gay Cheryl Ann Smith of Dexter; one son, Joshua Gold of Dexter and two grandchildren. Other family and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one brother.

He had lived in the Puxico area all of is life. He worked as a farm hand and was of Baptist faith.
On June 24, 1965, he was married to Shirley Jean Huff in Bloomfield, Missouri. She preceded him in death on January 4, 2010.
Surviving are; one son, Albert Mace Jr., of Puxico, Missouri; one daughter, Shirley Morgan of Doniphan, Missouri; four grandchildren, three great grandchildren; one brother, Virgil Mace of Bloomfield, Missouri and one sister, Jammie Daniels of Dexter, Missouri. Other family and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his wife and two brothers.
Private Family Services will be held at a later date.

Spencer Pedigo, son of David Pedigo and Judy Shafer Pedigo, was born on May 8, 1981, in Dexter, Missouri and departed this life on December 3, 2013 at his residence in Dexter at the age of 32.
Spencer was affiliated with the Mount Zion Walker Baptist Church in Bloomfield. He graduated from Dexter Senior High School in 1999, he was formerly employed at Faurecia Emissions in Dexter as an electronic technician and recently owned N.S. Construction Company. Spencer really enjoyed hunting, camping, and boating. He loved his family, dogs, and his children very much.
He was united in marriage to Natasha Patterson-Morlan on June 29, 2013 at Bloomfield, Missouri. Mrs. Pedigo survives of the home.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by one son, David Spencer “Trey” Pedigo III of Dexter; by one daughter, Kaylie M. Pedigo of Bernie; by one brother, Jacob D. Pedigo of Dexter; by one sister, Kelly Nation and husband Chris of Dexter; maternal grandmother , Frankie Shafer of Dexter, by three step-daughters, Natalie Erin Powell of Bloomfield, Tristin Lynn Pullum of Dexter and Tara Elise Pullum of Dexter; also by two nephews Lucas and Hunter, and three nieces Riley, Chelsey, and Sydney.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Thursday, December 5, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, December 6, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bob Holland officiating.
Interment will follow in the Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield, Missouri.

Mr. Rannells attended grade school and high school in Dexter, Missouri and then went on to complete three years at the University of Missouri before joining the United States Army. He was a U.S. Army Veteran who was awarded the World War II Victory Medal and the Army Occupied Japan Medal. He was a Corporal at his discharge in 1947.
After returning from the service he was engaged in farming before beginning a career in construction with R.B. Potashnick, focusing on road and dams. He enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing. He was a member at the First United Methodist Church in Dexter. He loved animals and his family. On December 1, 1954 he was married to Carolyn Groves in Sikeston, Missouri.
Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Carolyn Rannells of Dexter, Missouri; one son, Greg Rannells of St. Louis, Missouri; one daughter and son in law, Karen and Robin Lemons of Shawnee, Kansas, two grandchildren, Lauren Lemons of Los Angeles, California and Michael Lemons of Shawnee, Kansas; and one sister, Elise Todd of Richardson, Texas. Other relatives and friends survive.
Private Family Services will be held at a later date. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Stoddard County Children's Home, PO Box 164, Dexter, Missouri 63841.
