
Dale Young, son of the late Earl Vernon Young and Lola Montgomery Young was born on May 22, 1936 in Parma and departed this life on September 2, 2013 at his residence in Dexter at the age of 77.
Mr. Young attended Campbell Schools and graduated from Dexter Senior High School in 1954. He worked at Swift and Company until 1958. He then went to work for Mayberry’s Television Services. He was currently employed at JC Enterprises as a Television Technician. He spent fifty-five years repairing televisions. In 1978 he gave his life to Christ and was baptized. He became a member of The First Church of the Nazarene, where he served as a Sunday School Superintendent Teacher, board member, bus driver and choir member for seventeen years. He later transferred to Risen Church. He has been a faithful member and choir member there for eighteen years. He was a very caring and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
On May 23, 1980 he was united in marriage to Faye Palmer Duley in Dexter. Mrs. Young survives of their home in Dexter.
Besides his wife he is survived by three sons, Kenny Young of Dexter, Kelly Young and wife Kim of Kansas City, Missouri and Tim Young of Dexter; by two daughters, Donna Warren of Dexter and Becky Antonacci and husband Ray of Wentzville, Missouri; by one brother, Earl Young Jr. of Dexter; by three sisters, Betty Duffy of Collinsville, Illinois, Shirley LaRue and husband Kenny of Dexter and Linda Conner and husband Kenny of Dexter; by eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Larry Gene Young and by one sister, Barbara Litzler.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Risen Church in Dexter with Rev. Joshua Carpenter officiating.
Interment will follow in the Dexter cemetery.

Thelma Harlan Lape, daughter of the late Marion F. Harlan and Chloe Ross Harlan was born on December 23, 1923 at Grayridge and departed this life in her residence at Dexter on August 30, 2013 at the age of 89.
Mrs. Lape was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dexter, had been a teacher for thirty one years, retiring in 1973. She was a member of the Missouri State Teachers Association and a resident of Dexter.
She was united in marriage to Leo R. Lape on November 29, 1941 at Benton. Mr. Lape preceded her in death on February 15, 1995.
She is survived by one sister, Elma Harlan Brown of Dexter: by seven nieces, Verna G. Tyler of Redmond, Washington, Laquitta Herren of Venice, Florida, Jennifer Bowman of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Toni Hoobler of Livonia, Michigan, Brenda Lowe of McQueeney, Texas, Helen Martin and Karen Davis both of St. Charles: by four nephews, Ronald Harlan of Birmingham, Alabama, Bob Shearon of Cincinnati, Ohio, Lorin Vaughn of West Plains and Larry Vaughn of Ste. Genevieve.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Edmond Harlan, Hollis Harlan, Alvin Harlan, Sonny Harlan and Oliver Harlan: by three sisters, Bertha Vaughn, Mabel Shearon and Maxine Harlan.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 1:00 until 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 3, 2013. Funeral services will then be conducted at 3:00 P.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Rich Lee officiating. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.

Mrs. Cravens had lived most of her life in Parma. She had been a home maker and enjoyed crafts and quilting.
On April 16, 1964, she was married to Daniel Cravens in Parma, Missouri.
Surviving are her husband, Daniel Cravens of Parma, Missouri; three sons & spouse, Richard & Kathy Cravens, Dennis Cravens and Thomas Cravens all of Parma, Missouri; four daughters and spouses, Rita Cravens of Parma, Missouri, Lisa & Kent Leigh of Suisun City, California, Sandra & John Acord of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Frances Cravens & Howard Newsome of Fruitland, Missouri; fourteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; one brother, Carroll McCain of Cement, Oklahoma and her mother-in-law, Ethel Cravens of Parma. Numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, her father-in-law, Floyd Cravens and twelve siblings.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Parma Missouri.
Funeral services was held on Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at 1:00 PM in the Watkins and Sons Chapel in Parma, Missouri with the Rev. Frank Townsend of Parma, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in Bernie Cemetery in Bernie, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Parma in charge of arrangements.

Knealin W. Wright, Jr., son of Knealin W. Wright, Sr. of Pomona, Missouri and Deborah Jean McGowen of Dexter, Missouri, was born on December 16, 1970 at St. Charles, Illinois and passed away on August 29, 2013 at SoutheastHealth Center of Stoddard County in Dexter at the age of 42 years.
Mr. Wright had worked as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant and was a resident of Dexter.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Jeff Wright and Chris Jackson, both of Dexter; one sister, Melinda Jones of Springfield; and his maternal grandmother, Laura Wright of Bernie.

Evelyn Estelle Dieter, daughter of the late Franklin C. Gregg and Elizabeth Armstrong Gregg, was born on October 20, 1916 in Hackleburg, Alabama and passed away on August 28, 2013 at the Miner Nursing Center in Miner, Missouri at the age of 96 years.
Mrs. Dieter was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dexter. She was a housewife and a resident of Dexter.
On October 17, 1936, she was united in marriage to Richard W. Dieter in Dexter, Missouri. Mr. Deiter preceded her in death on December 29, 1986.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Dieter and wife Diane of Apalachicola, Florida and Richard Deiter and wife Janice of Memphis, Tennessee; by four daughters, Evelyn Bishop and husband Carl of Dexter, Barbara O’Donnell and husband Jim of Bayonet Pointe, Florida, Joan Himmelberg and husband Leo of St. Louis and Caroline Moore and husband Don of Sikeston; by one brother, Morris Gregg and wife Donna of Dexter; by one sister, Jean Dunn and husband Harold of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; and by twelve grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Clovis Gregg, Joseph Gregg, Robert Gregg and Ivin J. Gregg and by three sisters, Jessie Link, Teela Koch and Della Wilson.
Friends may call at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dexter from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2013.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10:00 A.M. with Father David Dohogne officiating.
Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
