
Jeanette Satterfield, daughter of the late Bernard Harold Cravens and Syble Hill Cravens was born on January 13, 1931 at Fisk and departed this life in her residence at Dexter on July 31, 2013 at the age 82.
Mrs. Satterfield was the former co-owner with her husband of Satterfield Salvage, Satterfield Skating Rinks in Dexter and Sikeston and the Go-Kart Track in Dexter.
She was united in marriage to Zural Satterfield on October 4, 1949 at Piggott, Arkansas. Mr. Satterfield preceded her in death on November 10, 1981.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Cindy Satterfield of Dexter: by two daughters, Ann Smith and husband Jerry of Dexter and Corliss Persfull of Bentonville, Arkansas: by five grandchildren, Billy Fowler and wife Beth, Shelly Brooks and husband Wes, Drew Satterfield, Jessica Satterfield and Jordan Persfull: by one great-granddaughter, Gracyn Fowler: by one brother, Chester Cravens and wife Marceline of Dexter: by two sisters, Shirley Ann Jones of St. Petersburg, Florida and Carolyn Sue Boone and husband John of Charleston, South Carolina.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Sunday, August 4, 2013 at the Dexter Cemetery.

Frank Junior Bolin, son of the late Marion Frank Bolin and Bertha Mapps Bolin, was born on August 10, 1929 in Lake City, Arkansas and passed away on July 30, 2013 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 83 years.
Mr. Bolin worked as a farmer, was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a resident of Essex, Missouri.
On December 23, 1950 he was united in marriage to Doris Hill in Piggott, Arkansas. Mrs. Bolin survives of the home.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Stanley Bolin and his wife, Donna, of Dexter and Chris Bolin of Essex.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ethel Pringle and Daisy Sielert.

Merlin Ray Mason, son of Vera Mae Bess Mason and the late Harvey L. Mason, was born near Advance, Missouri on March 22, 1943, and passed away at the Kindred Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri on July 28, 2013, at the age of 70 years, 4 months and 6 days.
Mr. Mason had lived most of his life in Dexter, Missouri and had worked in the Dairy Business, retiring in 2009. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dexter.
On June 22, 1963, he was married to Phyllis Davis near Bell City, Missouri.
Surviving are his wife, Phyllis Mason of Dexter; two sons and spouses, Tim & Donna Mason of Dexter, Chris & Janet Mason of Arnold; five grandchildren, who were the light of his life, Elliott, Jackson, Riley, Mabree and Davis Mason; his mother, Vera Mason of Bell City; one brother and spouse, Ronald & Jan Mason of Sikeston. Other in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends survive.
Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 1, 2013, at the First Baptist Church in Dexter, Missouri.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 2, 2013, at 11:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Kenny Qualls of Fenton, Missouri officiating.
Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri. Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri in charge of all arrangements.

Terry Temples, daughter of the late James Coleman Walker and Irene Arnold Walker was born on September 21, 1938 in Gideon, Missouri and departed this life on July 27, 2013 at the Cypress Point Skilled Nursing Facility in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 74 years.
Mrs. Temples was a homemaker and a resident of Dexter, Missouri
Survivors include one son, Brian Temples of Little Rock, Arkansas; two daughters, Belinda Johnson of Dexter and Theresa Gallegos of San Jose, California; by one brother, Bryce Walker of Ozark, Missouri; by five grandchildren, Miranda Johnson, Nicole Schaefer, Jessica Gallegos, Brian Temples Jr., and Victoria Temples; also by one great- granddaughter, Ava Schaefer.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Janice Rhien and Betty Regan.
Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter with Rich Lee officiating.

William “Bill” Edward Alexander son of the late Clyde and Ruby Lockhart Alexander was born on November 23, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan and passed away on July 27, 2013 at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau at the age of 80.
He was a Veteran of the United States Navy where he served on the USS Rochester operating in Korean water from 1952-1955. He served on the USS Toledo in the Pacific area from 1955-1956. After his service to the Navy, he joined the United States Air Force where he served in many locations including Guam and the Tuy-Hoa Air Base in Republic South Vietnam. He retired from the military in 1973.
He was a lifetime member of the American Legion, VFW and DAV. He was the past commander of the Nixa VFW, American Legion post #382 in Bloomfield, American Legion post #59 in Dexter. He also served as the vice commander of the American Legion District 14.
He was a thirty-second degree Mason and served as the Worshipful Master of Dexter Lodge #532 AF & AM. He was a member of the Eastern Star #311.
He was also a past member of the Stoddard County Honor Guard and a current member of the American Legion Post #59 Honor Guard.
On June 25, 1986 he was united in marriage to Virginia “Gigi” Coker in Malden. Mrs. Alexander survives of their home in Dexter.
Besides his wife he is survived by one son, Joe and wife Sonja Alexander of Panama City, Florida; by two daughters, Shelly and husband Gary Rusher of Dexter and Sharon Featherston of Dexter; by one step-son, Gary and wife Terri Worley of Puxico; by one step-daughter, Gina and husband Rick Gross of Newnan, Georgia; by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one grandson, Robby Maddox, by one brother, Winfred Proffer and by one sister, Francis Hart Stafford.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Deacon Jim Long officiating.
Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with Full Military Honors.
