William "Bill" Ray Williams son of the late Lonnie Lee Williams and Emma Louise Skaggs Williams was born in St. Louis, Missouri on March 12, 1942 and departed this life at his residence in Bernie, Missouri on October 30, 2012 at the age of 70.

Mr. Williams had worked in construction and was a Welder during his life and was of Church of Christ faith.

He was united in marriage to Barbara Ann Essen in Ellisville, Missouri on September 12, 1959.

Survivors include, His wife, Barbara Ann Williams of their home in Bernie, Missouri; by three sons, Lonnie E. Williams of Dexter, Missouri Jeffery Allen Williams of Dexter, Missouri and Rodney Dean Williams of Bernie, Missouri: by one sister, Christina Larkin of Johnston City, Illinois Missouri; by ten grandchildren and  six  great-grandchildren.  Also by other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death other than by his parents by one son, Anthony Lee Williams; by one brother, Lonnie Odell Williams; by two sisters, Rosemarie Bradley and  Betty Lou Williams.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, Missouri on Thursday November 1, 2012 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.  Funeral services will be conducted on Friday Morning, November 2, 2012 starting at 11:00 A.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Bernie, Missouri with Stan Dauck

Officiating, Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.  Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in charge of arrangements
