Fowler “Bob” Evans, son of the late Clabe Evans and Bessie Fowler Evans was born on October 1, 1920 in Randolph County, Arkansas and departed this life at his residence in Dexter on October 26, 2011 at the age of 91 years.

Mr. Evans was affiliated with the Dexter Church of Christ and a resident of Dexter.

Survivors include two brothers, Billy James Evans and Keifer Evans both of Dexter; by three sisters, Theda Nydegger of Stayton, Oregon, Wilma Thomasson of Mount Vernon, Oregon, and Wanda Norman of Pleasant View, Utah.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Essie Vinson and Madge Evans.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 9:30 until 11 a.m., Saturday October 29, 2011.  Funeral services will then be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday October 29, 2011 in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter with Travis Quertermous officiating.  Interment will follow at the Hickory Grove Cemetery near Morley, Missouri.
