Glen Pippins
Glen Pippins, son of the late Sherman Pippins and Carrie Bell Pendergrass Pippins was born on June 25, 1924 in Bernie and died on April 3, 2011 at his residence in Dexter at the age of 86.

Mr. Pippins was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dexter, a Veteran of the United States Navy Serving in World War II. Mr. Pippins was retired from MFA in Bernie where he served as the Bulk Plant Manager and was a resident of Dexter.

On June 29, 1946 he was united in marriage to Maxine Foushee in Piggott, Arkansas. Mrs. Pippins preceded him in death on August 28, 2001.

He is survived by two daughters and sons in law, Debbie and husband Terry Wilson of Fenton, Missouri and Lisa and Tim Burnett of Dexter; by one sister, Beunah Hutchcraft of Dexter; by three grandchildren, Tara Wilson of Fenton, Missouri, Brooke and husband Brad Rega of Cherokee Village, Arkansas and Colton Burnett of Dexter and by two great grandchildren, Bella Mae Rega and Nicholas Wilson.

Besides his wife and parents he was preceded in death by six brothers, Rube Pippins, Lloyd Pippins, Lester Pippins, Hershel Pippins, Floyd Pippins and Junior Pippins; by one sister, Norma Carson and by one granddaughter, Erica Wilson.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 from 1:00 P.M. until 2:30 P.M. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter at 2:30 P.M. with Dr. Steve Easterwood officiating. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery with full Military Honors.
