
Stoddard County, MO - The U.S. Route 60 outer roads in Stoddard County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform guardrail and cable barrier repairs.
Work will be underway on both outer roads along Route 60 simultaneously. This section of roadway is located from Missouri Route 51 to Route TT at Dudley, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work take place Monday, Dec. 7 through Friday, Dec. 11 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
The work zones will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.

On Monday, December 7, 2020 in honor of National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, the American flag should be flown at half-staff from sunrise until sunset to honor those who died as a result of the attack on U.S. military forces in Hawaii.
Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day occurs on December 7 of each year, designated in memory of the lives lost in the 1941 attack and to remember that we enjoy freedom thanks to their sacrifice. The attack claimed the lives of 2,334 servicemen and servicewomen and wounded another 1,143.

BRIDGE CLOSURE - US 60/62
Mississippi County, Missouri/Alexander County, Illinois
The Illinois Department of Transportation would like to alert motorists traveling on US 60/62 in Alexander County of an upcoming BRIDGE CLOSURE.
Beginning Monday, November 30, 2020, weather permitting, there will be bridge repair work on the US 60/62 bridge at Cairo that will require a bridge closure beginning at 7am. The bridge will be closed throughout the duration of work. Work includes pier repairs and temporary shoring. Work is expected to be completed by December 31, 2020.
Message boards will be in place to guide motorists along alternate route utilizing US 62W, I-57N and IL 3.

This section of roadway is located from Route 60 to County Road 554.
Weather permitting, work will take place Friday, Nov. 13 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.

Eastbound U.S. Route 60 in Butler and Stoddard Counties will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs.
This section of roadway is located from Route DD to Route 51.
Weather permitting, work will begin Tuesday, Nov. 10 with completion anticipated Thursday, Nov. 12, including overnights.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
