Dexter, MO - There will be a Cub Scout meeting for parents/guardians on October 26, 2020 at Watkins Funeral Home in Dexter.

Cub Scout activities are centered around earning badges that are specific to each school grade level. This badge represents a rank. Advancement refers to the progress a Cub Scout makes toward their badge of rank.
Kindergarten through third grade; Lions, Tigers, Wolves, and Bears earn metal adventure loops. These are designed to slide onto a Cub Scout’s belt.
Fourth and fifth grade, Webelos, earn metal adventure pins. These pins are placed on the Webelos Colors or on a Webelos hat.
Kennett, MO - Governor Mike Parson has ordered flags at half-staff today, October 20, 2020 in honor of assistant police chief, Rick Groves from Kennett, Missouri.
Major Rick Groves died Friday, October 16, 2020 from complications due to COVID-19.
Flags will be flown at half staff at government buildings in Dunklin County on Tuesday, Oct. 20th.
His funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the Kennett High School gym.
Route NN in Stoddard County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs.
This section of roadway is located from Route NN to County Road 531.
Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, Oct. 13 through Monday, Oct. 19 from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
Dexter, MO - Come fly with the Barnstormers RC Club at the Dexter Municipal Airport on Saturday, October 3rd and Sunday, October 4th.
The Barnstormers RC Club will host their Annual Fun Fly from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. both day. This is a FREE event and open to the public.
Bring your chairs and if you are interested in flying a RC Plane there are flights available!! Just ask!
