Dexter, Missouri - There will be a March Open House event at the 1221st Transportation Company and the community is invited!

The event will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2019 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

The 1221st unit will have equipment and weapons on display for the community to view, handle, and ask questions about.

Bernie, Missouri - The city of Bernie will hold a quarterly cleanup day on Monday, March 4, 2019.

Items need to be separated into two piles, one pile for large items such as furniture and appliances and the one for small trash items.

The city will not pickup batteries, used oil, oil filters, shingles or any type of yard waste including but not limited to leaves, trees, and limbs.

There is a $15 charge for appliances, heaters, air conditioners, etc.

There is a $10 charge for couches, riding lawn movers and the like.

There is a $5 charge for chairs, push mowers, and mattresses.
