Bloomfield, Missouri - The Annual Memorial Day Program will begin at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 30, 2016 at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Monday is Memorial Day in the United States. It is a day to reflect and remember those who sacrificed so much for our freedoms.
Retired members of the Marine Corps, U.S. Army, Air Force, Navy and Coast Guard will perform a ceremony at a beautifully decorated POW/MIA Table while Gary Kitchen SFC USA Retired will narrate. The table symbolizes the fact that members of our armed forces are missing from our ranks. They are unable to be with their loved ones and families today.
Memorial Day will be celebrated around our country as a day of laughter and joy with our families as we celebrate our freedom. Just take a few moments to remember those who gave all so that you may have this day with your family and friends. REMEMBER! All gave some, but some gave all!

Nearly 200 agencies and 6,500 officers work year-round in Missouri to accomplish this goal; they are some of our greatest volunteers. All funds raised go toward supporting Special Olympics Missouri’s year-round sports training and athletic competition program for more than 16,500 athletes across the state.
