
Bloomfield, MO - The 2020 SCAA 7th grade boys basketball tournament was originally set to take place in Bernie; however with COVID-19 they chose to move the tournament to Bloomfield for more seating. The tournament rotates alphabetically throughout Stoddard County schools and next year it is hoped to return to Bernie. Games begin on Monday, December 16th.
Dexter earned the #1 seed followed by #2 Bloomfield, #3 Puxico, #4 Bell City, #5 Richland, #6 Woodland, #7 Bernie, and #8 Advance.

Semifinal matches will be TBA depending on which schools win.
Third Place game and Championship games are set for Friday night.
All spectators will have to present a SCAA regular season ticket to attend. Tickets can only be used during a session where your team plays. for example, Bloomfield spectators can only use their tickets during a session where Bloomfield plays. Sections will be marked off for fans to sit in for your respective team.

The Woodland Cardinals earned the #1 spot followed by #2 Puxico, #3 Dexter, #4 Richland, #5 Bell City, #6 Bernie, and #7 Bloomfield.
Woodland also received a Bye in the first round.

Marble Hill (Woodland), MO - The 2020 Class 2, District 2 Volleyball seeds have been announced. Games will be played at Woodland High School in Marble Hill.
Woodland Lady Cardinals earned the #1 seed followed by #2 Bloomfield, #3 Clearwater, #4 Puxico, and #5 Greenville.
Woodland received a bye in the first round.
On October 26th at 4:30 p.m. #4 Puxico vs #5 Greenville, 6 p.m. #2 Bloomfield vs #3 Clearwater, and at 7:30 p.m. Woodland will face the winner of the Puxico/Greenville game.
Championship will be October 27th at 6 p.m. in the Woodland High School gym.

Bloomfield, MO - The SCAA Volleyball Tournament continues on Thursday evening at the Bloomfield gym.
Game times are:
4 p.m. Puxico JV vs Bernie Jv
5 p.m. Dexter varsity vs Bernie varsity
6:45 p.m. Bloomfield JV vs Advance JV
7:45 p.m. Advance varsity vs Woodland varsity
"We will have 2 sessions on Thursday. After the second game, and after all the teams and fans leave, we will sanitize the gym," comment Jason karnes, High School Principal. "As our custodians wrap that up, we will then reopen the admission gate for the second session of games. Please help us spread the word, that those fans coming for the second session will not be allowed in until we are done sanitizing."
Session 1 - will only allow tickets from Dexter, Bernie, Puxico
Session 2 - will only allow tickets from Advance, Woodland, Bloomfield.
"We really had great cooperation from all schools and fans the first night, so we also want to express our thanks to everyone for helping out! It is definitely a change of pace from previous SCAA tournaments, but we appreciate everyone's help with this year's guidelines," Karnes concluded.

Bloomfield, MO - On Saturday, October 10, 2020 the Bloomfield Public Schools will host the annual Stoddard County Athletic Association middle school and high school cross country meet.
The race will be held at the Stars & Stripes Museum.
All races will start and stop at nearly the same place with the one mile mark within viewing distance of just about any spot in the park. The middle school course will be a 1.8 mile loop and the high school course will be a similar 5K course.

9:45 A.M. Varsity/JV Boys
9:50 A.M. Varsity/JV Girls
AWARDS
There will be 10 rank medals given out per MS and HS race. The individual rank medals will be placed in packets and given to coaches at the conclusion of the meet. The first place team from each race will receive a plaque.
SCORES
Top four boys and top three girls in each division will be used to compute the team scores.
