East Prairie Eliminates Holcomb from Bloomfield Christmas Tournament

Bloomfield, Missouri - The East Prairie Eagles eliminated the Holcomb Hornets in Game #10 of the 59th Annual Bloomfield Christmas Tournament by a score of 79-59.

Powerhouse Eagles freshman, Derez Tipler, recorded a game-high and so far a tournament-high 32 points.  

Jordan Massey, a senior from Holcomb, tallied a team-high 19 points.

Holcomb led in the first quarter by one point 19 - 18 later falling behind at the half 37 - 33.  East Prairie came alive after the half-time break holding the Hornets to just 8 points in the third quarter.

Doniphan Dominates Bernie in Basketball

Bloomfield, Missouri - Lucas Moe led the Doniphan Dons with 22 points to defeat the Bernie Mules in Game #4 of the 59th Annual Bloomfield Christmas Tournament.  As of posting time this evening Moe leads the all time high scorer for this year's tournament.  

An electrified Lucas Moe tallied a game-high 22 points.  Tanner Buck recorded four 3-pointers and one bucket for 14 points for the Dons.  Klay Barton tallied two treys and Brad Eddens and Lucas Moe contributed one trey each.

The Dons jumped out to a 21 - 7 lead in the first quarter to secure their win over the Mules 72 - 41. They recorded double digits in each of the four periods.  

Dalton Hobgood tallied a team-high 11 points including three 3-pointers.  Jayce Burk and Alan Pippins each contributed 2 treys.

South Pemiscot Defeated Van Buren in Game #3 of the Bloomfield Christmas Tournament

Bloomfield, Missouri - South Pemiscot defeated Van Buren 62 – 34 in Game #3 of the 59th Annual Bloomfield Christmas Tournament.

The South Pemiscot Bulldogs jumped to a 22 – 5 lead at the end of the first quarter holding Van Buren Bulldogs to single digits in the first two periods of the game.  Half-time score was S. Pemiscot over Van Buren 36 – 13.

Dominque Hardimon recorded a game-high 18 points for South Pemiscot.  He was the only player in double digits as 11 other players contributed points to secure their win.

Matthew Shrontz tallied a team-high 15 points including 1 trey for Van Buren.  Todd Wilcoxon also contributed a 3-pointer.

Kennett Indians Beat Holcomb Hornets in Game #2 of the Bloomfield Christmas Tournament

Bloomfield, Missouri - The #2 seeded Kennett Indians defeated the #15 seeded Holcomb Hornets 77 - 43 in Game #2 of the 59th Annual Bloomfield Christmas Tournament on Saturday morning.

Jad Kenny and Patrick Maddox tied for a game-high 16 points each for the Indians.

Jaylean Kinnon recorded 11 points for Kennett.

Holcomb jumped out to a 20 - 13 lead in the first quarter with Kennett answering with 28 points in the second holding the Indians to just 6 points.  Half-time score Kennett 41, Holcomb 26.

Kennett scored double digits in each of the four quarters.

Jordan Massey tallied 14 points for the Hornets.  Alec McDaniel, Zach Bridges, Paden McCormick, Dustin Black, and Nate Rose each recorded a 3-pointer.  Johnny Maynard scored two treys for Holcomb.

Bloomfield Wildcats Run Over Richland in Opening Game of the Christmas Tournament

Bloomfield, Missouri - The #1 seeded Bloomfield Wildcats opened the 59th Annual Bloomfield Christmas Tournament on Saturday morning slaying the Richland Rebels 71 - 19.

Twelve Wildcats contributed to their game one win. Senior Wildcat center Noah Vandiver tallied a game-high 17 points.  Tyler Battles recorded 11 points including one trey for Bloomfield. Tim Hector, Caleb Pulley, Nathan Newell also hit one 3-pointer each and Joe Clary recorded two 3-pointers.

Bloomfield jumped out to a 25 - 7 lead in the first quarter and never trailed the Rebel.  Their defense held Richland to single digit scoring in all four quarters.

Josh Thorton and Hunter Walker tied for team-high 6 points each for Richland.
