The Doniphan Dons seeded #3 in the 2022 Bloomfield Christmas Tournament defeated #14 seeded Hayti by only four points in the next to the last game of the first day of the tournament.  The final score was Doniphan 63, Hayti 59.

Doniphan's Max Owen, a 6'3" senior guard, scored a tournament record high of 37 points in the first round today.  He hit six treys and eight buckets and was 3/6 at the charity stripe.

Kameron Barton, a 6'4" senior forward tallied 13 points on six buckets and one at the line. 

Emmitt Jones, a 65'1" sophomore forward for the Rebels finished the game with a total of 10 points on four baskets and was 2/4 at the charity stripe.

Keion Hamilton, a senior guard, was the top scorer for the Hayti Indians earning 16 points on six baskets and was 4/5 at the line.

Kanye jones tallied 12 points on two treys and three buckets.
