Bernie Mules Baseball Beats Gideon 11 - 0

Dexter, Missouri - The Bernie Mules baseball team beat Gideon/Risco 11 - 0 in 6 innings.

Nate Dillinger, Blake Beacham, and Mason Mayberry all threw for the Mules with Beacham earning the win.

Blake Beacham and Jaden McGowan each had 2 hits to lead a 10 hit attack.

Mikey Suiter (3 RBI) hit a three run homer over the centerfield fence and Wyatt Barnett had a walk off two run homer in the bottom of the 5th.

The Bernie Mules Baseball Team is now 2 - 0 and will host a Wood Bat Tournament starting at 10:00 am Saturday morning.

Bernie JV Volleyball Tournament Continues, Championship TONIGHT!

Bernie, Missouri - The Bernie Mules JV Volleyball Tournament continues Friday evening at the Bernie High School gym and the Elementary gym.

Participating in the JV Tournament are Bernie, Poplar Bluff, Portageville, Twin Rivers, Sikeston, Scott City, Bloomfield, and Puxico.

Game 1 will feature Bernie vs Poplar Bluff at 4:00 p.m. in the high school gym.

Game 2 will begin at 5:00 p.m. between the Portageville Bulldogs and Twin Rivers in the high school gym.

Game 3 is slated to begin at 5:00 p.m. in the Elementary gym with Sikeston taking on Bloomfield.

Game 4 begins at 4:00 p.m. between Scott City and Puxico in the Elementary gym.

Game 5 is slated for 6 p.m. in the High School gym between the winners of games 1 and 2.

Game 5 is set for 6:00 p.m. in the Elementary gym between the winners of games 3 and 4.

Game 7, the championship game is set for 7:00 p.m. at the Bernie High School gym.

Bernie Mules Baseball Takes Out Senath 15 - 0

Bernie, Missouri - The Bernie High School Baseball Team won their season opener at Senath tonight!  They won 15 - 0 in five innings!

The Mules jumped out to a three-run lead in the first inning and never looked back!

In the 5th inning the Mules scored big earning seven runs.

Dalton Hobgood pitched well for the Mules and picked up the win!  He threw 4 inning allowing 1 hit, 0 runs, and struck-out four and walked none.

Weston Comstock and Gavin Brown had big plays at the plate.  Comstock drew 2 walks, had 2 hits, and 3 RBIs.  Brown had 3 hits and 3 RBIs.

The Bernie Mules will host Gideon/Risco on Friday.  Game time 4:00 p.m.

On Saturday, August 26, 2017 the Mules host the Bernie Wood Bat Tournament beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Bernie, Missouri - The 2017 Bernie Lady Mules Volleyball Schedule has been announced.  Bernie will participate in the Notre Dame Volleyball Fest, the SCAA Volleyball Tournament and the Perryville Tournament.  The JV Volleyball Team will host a tournament on Thursday, August 24th and Friday, August 25th .

Bernie will also host the Class 1, District Volleyball Tournament in October

2017 Bernie Junior Varsity Volleyball Tournament Set

Bernie, Missouri - The 2017 Bernie Junior Varsity Volleyball Tournament will be held on Thursday, August 24th and Friday, August 25th.  Game will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

On Thursday two gyms will be used, with Pool A playing in the High School gym and Pool B playing in the Elementary gym.

The tournament on Friday will begin at 4:00 p.m. with the first and second rounds being played in both gyms.  The finals will be played in the High School gym.

Trophies will be presented to the top two teams.  Spectators will be admitted through the High School game and their hand stamped so they may enter either gym.

Pool Play format will be Round Robin with two 25 point games with 27 point cap.  Tournament will be single elimination, two out of 3 games.  The first two games will be 2 point with 27 point cap.  If a deciding game is required it will be played to 15 points with a 17 point cap.

Teams participating are Bernie, Sikeston, Bloomfield, Scott City, Sikeston, Puxico, Twin Rivers, and Portageville.
