Dexter Rotary Club Donates to Local Mission

Dexter, Missouri - The Dexter Rotary Club presented its annual donation to the Stoddard County Gospel Mission on Tuesday.

The local Rotary organization contributes $500 annually to the mission to assist in the purchase of items to fill their holiday baskets for the needy in Stoddard County.

At center is Rotary President Dee Loflin, shown presenting a check to the Mission Executive Director Kim Slavings. Standing in back is Rotarian Dave Ellinghouse and at right is fellow-Rotarian, Morris Gregg.

The Dexter Rotary Club meets weekly for breakfast or lunch and is currently looking for new members.  If you are interested in becoming a member contact Mr. Jack Rodgers at 573-624-5762 orjrod63841@yahoo.comor Dee Loflin at 573-614-4804. 

Their motto is Service Above Self!

The Dexter Rotary Club also sponsors a student led group, Interact, and any Stoddard County high school student is eligible to join.  They meet once per month on the first Sunday.
