
Donna Karen Norden, daughter of Paul Edward Kennedy and the late Joyce Lorene Edwards, was born in St. Louis, Missouri on March 2, 1953 and departed this life at her residence in Rural Bernie, Missouri on April 9, 2023 at the age of 70.
Mrs. Norden had worked at Malden Flower Shop, Donna’s Flowers and Juanita’s Flowers all of Malden; also Twin Roses in Bernie, Missouri. She was a floral designer. She loved the Lord and was a part of Word Of Faith Family of Bernie.
She was united in marriage to Michael J. Norden Sr., in Malden, Missouri on August 31, 1968. Mr. Norden survives in their home in Rural Bernie.
Other survivors include her father, Paul Edward Kennedy of Bernie; by one daughter, Tracie Cobb & husband Jeromy of Bernie; by one daughter in law, Robin Norden of Bernie; by one brother, Rick Kennedy & wife Paulette of Bernie; by one brother in law, Terry Williams of Bunker, Mo.; by three sisters, Rhonda Rinker & husband Dave of Valles Mines, Mo., Beverly Adams & husband Bob of Malden, Kim Blake & husband Lannie of Malden; by one sister in law, Peggy Sue Kennedy of Bernie; by eight grandchildren, Eric Norden & wife Page, Brennen Norden, Ashley Weathers, Rhyan Cobb, Darrik Cobb, Emery Walls, Aiden Norden and Jayden Cobb; by one great-grandson, Isaiah Norden; also by other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death other than by her Mother, by three sons, Troy Norden, Michael Norden Jr. and Marcus Norden; by one brother, Robert Edward Kennedy; by one sister, Joy Nell Williams.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, April 13, 2023 in the Mathis Funeral Chapel in Bernie starting at 1:00 PM. Pastor Dale Hartle officiating. Interment will follow in Bernie Cemetery.

Lowell Right Harper, son of the late Lawton Harper and Dovie Baker Harper, was born on December 31, 1934, in Bloomfield, Missouri, and departed this life on April 6, 2023, at Delta South Skilled Nursing in Sikeston, Missouri, at the age of 88 years.
Mr. Harper was a Veteran of the United States Army and a former employee of the Missouri Department of Transportation. He was a member of First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Dexter, Missouri and a resident of Dexter. He enjoyed coin collecting, and was well known around town for his love of scratch off tickets.
On July 2, 1961, in Dexter, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Rose Ellen LeBeau. Mrs. Harper preceded him in death on December 18, 2012.
He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Aaron and husband Danny of Dexter, Missouri, and by two grandchildren, Addyson Aaron and Dylan Aaron
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.
Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.

Verna Faye Burchett, daughter of the late Gus Burchett and Eva Sneed Burchett, was born on August 27, 1932, in Naylor, Missouri, and departed this life on April 3, 2023, at Winchester Nursing in Bernie, Missouri at the age of 90 years.
Ms. Burchett was a former employee of Emerson Electric in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a member of Rivers of Life Ministries and a resident of Bloomfield, Missouri. Faye was a devout Christian and dearly loved the Lord.
She is survived by her brother, Ronald Burchett of New Bern, North Carolina; by five sisters, Lavene Burchett of Malden, Missouri, Lou Ann Schroeder of New Bern, North Carolina, Corena McMillion of Dexter, Missouri, Linda Neuhaus of Bermuda Run, North Carolina and Vickie Cato of New Bern, North Carolina; and by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Thursday, April 6, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.

Carl Junior Dean son of the late Clifford Carl Dean and Alice Marie Holloway Dean, was born in Delaplaine, Arkansas on May 15, 1949 and departed this life at his residence in Bernie, Missouri on April 3, 2023 at the age of 73.
Mr. Dean had worked at General Steel in Granite City, Illinois, then at Brown Shoe Company in Bernie, later he worked at IXL/Ames True Temper in Bernie as a forklift driver until his retirement.
He was united in marriage to Hazel Jean Seger in Granite City, Illinois on August 17, 1967. Mrs. Dean survives in their home in Bernie.
Other survivors include one son, Kenneth Dean and wife Melissa of Dexter, Missouri; by one daughter, Christy Sanders and husband Jimmy of Bernie, Missouri; by one brother, Charlie Dean & wife Gloria of Bernie, Missouri; by five grandchildren, Trenten Dean, Makenna Dean, Dustin Dean, Kiera Sanders and Kaleb Sanders; also by other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death other than by his parents, by one sister, Gloria Vancil.

Donald Wayne Cameron was born October 6, 1940, in New Madrid, Missouri to the late Narvel and Verna Ruby Cameron. On April 2, 2023, he was called home to be with his Savior and loving wife at the age of 82.
Don graduated from Parma High School in 1958. He worked at Noranda and retired after 36 years. He enjoyed watching FOX News, boxing, baseball games, and high school basketball.
Don was a member of St. Joe General Baptist Church and loved southern gospel music.
He was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who took pride in his family and loved spending time with them. He especially liked to go out and eat with his family.
On February 24, 1962, he was united in marriage to LaVonda Fay Allen. They were married for 59 years until her passing May 12, 2021.
Don is survived by one son Chad Cameron and Felicia; two daughters Angie Dugan and Allen and Debbie Stogsdill and Rodney; four grandchildren Sarah Defries and Jon, Alex Dugan, Gage Stogsdill, and JohnPaul Stogsdill; two great granddaughters Sophie and Audrey Defries; one sister in law Bonnie Mills and Graydon; three nieces Tina Durham, Patty Timmer, and Pam Kawakami; three nephews Ron, Mitchell, and Brad Mills; three special young ladies he considered granddaughters Scarlett Alcorn, Ashlan Garner, and Emily Pyle; and by many other caring family members and friends.
Other than by his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Verneta and Harold Fleming.

Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. A celebration of life service will begin at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Dexter Cemetery.
