
John Louis Steven Stanford II, son of John Stanford and Pam Stephens Treat, was born on June 4, 1982, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and departed this life on October 21, 2021, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, at the age of 39 years.
Mr. Stanford was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in Afghanistan and he was a Federal Agent working in the Office of Special Investigations. He was a member of Westwood Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and a resident of Poplar Bluff. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing golf. He loved The Ohio State Buckeyes and he loved playing basketball with his wife and kids. John was an amazing husband, father, son, and friend.
On September 22, 2007, in Lilly Chapel, Ohio, he was united in marriage to Lenora McIntier.
He is survived by his wife, Lenora Stanford of Poplar Bluff; by his father Steve Stanford of Dexter; by his mother and step-father, Pam and Donald Treat of Bernie; by two sons, William Stanford and Wyatt Stanford, both of Poplar Bluff; by two daughters, Lily Stanford of Poplar Bluff and Faith Stanford of Clarkton; and by his sister, Chastity Beaird of Bernie.
Visitation will be held at Westwood Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff on Sunday, October 24, 2021, from 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.
Funeral services will then be conducted at Westwood Baptist Church on Sunday, October 24, 2021, at 3:30 p.m. with Rev. Dan Carr Jr. officiating.
Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield on Monday, October 25, 2021, at 11:00 a.m.

Jerry Lee Craft, son of the late Rube F. Craft and Beulah Mae Hester Craft, was born in Bernie, Missouri on March 23, 1942 and departed this life at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on October 20, 2021 at the age of 79.
Mr. Craft was in the National Guard for 12 years, and then had been a jet engine mechanic, had farmed and later worked at Noranda in New Madrid until his retirement. He was a resident of Bernie.
He was united in marriage to Shirlene King in Bernie, Missouri on August 26, 1961. Mrs. Craft survives in their home in Bernie.
Other survivors include one son, Kevin Craft & wife Tracy of Bernie, Missouri; by one daughter, Larinda Craft of Bernie, Missouri; by two grandchildren, Kristin Noah and Kassie Craft; by four great-grandchildren; also by other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death other than by his parents, by one brother, Dale Craft; also by one sister, Shelby J. Clayton.

Richard Lee Davis, son of the late Alro Truman Davis and Georgia Mae Lane Davis, was born on October 1, 1943, and departed this life on October 17, 2021, at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, at the age of 78 years.
Richard was a faithful employee of the Stoddard County ARC for many years, and he loved going on the ARC outings. He attended Risen Church in Dexter, Missouri and was a resident of Dexter.
He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Swim and husband Devin of St. Charles, Missouri; by his brother, Allen Davis and wife Nancy Lee of Florissant, Missouri; by his sister, Paula Abernathy and husband Vernon of Dexter, Missouri; by six grandchildren, Paul, Alex, Izzy, Charlotte, Maddie, and Annie; and was loved by several nephews and cousins that he loved.
Other than by his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Gene Davis and William Joseph Davis; and by two sisters, Mary Ann Winkleman and Nancy Marie Davis.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Sunday, October 24, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.

Phyllis Ann Morgan, daughter of Elbert Eugene Morgan and the late Mary Ruth Morgan, was born on May 14, 1949, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, and departed this life on October 15, 2021, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape, Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 72 years.
Ms. Morgan was of the Catholic Faith, a homemaker and a resident of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
She is survived by her father, Elbert Morgan of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; by her son, Timothy Murphy of Bernie, Missouri; by her daughter, Melissa Burge of Wentzville, Missouri; by her sister, Susan Haney of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; by five grandchildren, Berry Burge, Brauck Burge, Mackayla Baggett, Megan Wiseman, and Gage Murphy; and by six great-grandchildren.
Other than by her mother, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Brittney Grammer Murphy.
Private interment will take place in Bernie Cemetery in Bernie, Missouri at a later date.

Betty June Cobb of Dexter, Missouri born to the late Wayne and Nancy (Bates) Jackson on July 09, 1942 in Dexter, Missouri passed away on October 18, 2021 in Sikeston, Missouri at the age of 79 years.
Betty married Gene Cobb on August 24, 1961 in Dexter, Missouri. She has lived in Dexter, Missouri most of her life. She enjoyed flowers and taking care of all the stray dogs she could.
Dorothy is survived by her husband Gene Cobb; one son Roy Allen Cobb of Dexter, Missouri; two grandchildren Codey Allen Cobb and Joshua Wayne Cobb; one brother Allen Jackson of Dexter, Missouri; one sister Beverly (Carl) Graham of Dexter, Missouri. A host of family and friends also survive.
Visitation will be on Friday October 22, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
