
Irving James Myers, son of the late Orville Myers and Myrtle Chadd Myers, was born on August 13, 1938, in Sank, Missouri, and departed this life on June 17, 2021, at Westfield Nursing Center in Sikeston, Missouri, at the age of 82 years.
Mr. Myers had worked in commercial construction. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Dexter, Missouri, and a resident of Dexter.
On December 24, 1959, in Dexter, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Wanda Mae St. Clair. Mrs. Myers preceded him in death on February 7, 2020.
He is survived by two sons, Jeff Myers and wife Deanna, and Mark Myers, all of Dexter, Missouri; by two brothers, Bill Myers of Dexter, Missouri and Don Myers of Bethalto, Illinois; by two grandchildren, Matt Myers and wife Alisha, and Jordan Myers, all of Dexter, Missouri; and by two great-grandchildren, Nathan Myers, and Kathryn Myers.
Other than by his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Myers and Lloyd Myers; and by his sister, Laverne Eaker.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Monday, June 21, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Chapel on Monday, June 21, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Lonny Mittag officiating.
Interment will follow in Hagy Cemetery.

Betty Flurry, daughter of the late Grymes Pattillo and Mary Fielder Pattillo, was born on December 21, 1938, in New Madrid County, Missouri, and departed this life on June 15, 2021, at Southeast Health in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, at the age of 82 years.
Mrs. Flurry was a homemaker and a resident of Malden, Missouri.
She is survived by her brother, Steve Pattillo of Forest City, Florida, and by her sister, Patsy Brown of Apopka, Florida.
Other than by her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Dennis Flurry; and by two brothers, Bobby Pattillo and Gary Pattillo; and by her sister, Larada Pattillo.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, June 18, 2021, from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Chapel on Friday, June 18, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Ray Rowland officiating.
Interment will follow in the Dudley Cemetery.

Norma Jean Boyles of Fisk, Missouri passed away June 15, 2021 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Ms. Boyles was born August 16, 1937, in Dexter, Missouri to the late Elmer and Noma Glenn.
Norma married Charles Boyles on June 25, 1955 in Dexter, Missouri until his death on August 29, 2018. She attended the First United Methodist Church of Dexter, Missouri and enjoyed sewing, knitting, play the piano, singing, many craft projects, she loved spending time with her family most of all her grandchildren.
Norma is survived by one son Larry (Shiela) Boyles of Fisk, Missouri; one daughter Kim (Jim) Galloway of Fisk, Missouri; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and one sister LaTeresa (David) Hueckle of Essex, Missouri. She is preceded in death by two brothers Harold Glenn and Wayne Glen.
Visitation will be Saturday June 19, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. 3:00 p.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral Service will be Saturday June 19, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. with Minister Gary Hancock officiating at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Interment will follow at the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri.

Troy Lee May of Morehouse, Missouri was born to the late Sim and Pauline May on March 23, 1935 in McGee, Missouri and passed away on June 16, 2021 in Sikeston, Missouri at the age of 86 years.
Troy had been a resident of Morehouse, Missouri for eight years. He has lived in Puxico, Missouri and Wister, Oklahoma. He was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Sikeston, Missouri. Troy love to travel and enjoyed being a truck driver earlier in life.
Troy was married to Phyllis Buchanan May on February 09, 2015.
Troy is survived by his wife Phyllis May; one son Randy (Diana) May of Amarillo, Texas; one stepson Keith (Carmela) Ryan of Fenton, Missouri; one daughter Pepper (Eric) Waltham of Morwll Bay, California; one stepdaughter Toni (Jerry) Dement of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren; one brother Loy May of Elsa, Illinois; one sister Lucille Craig of Morell Bay California; several nieces and nephews. A host of family and friends also survive.
Graveside service will be on June 19, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Puxico Cemetery in Puxico, Missouri with Minister Joe McCullough of Sikeston, Missouri officiating. With Watkins and Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.

Joseph Larry Willis of Dudley, Missouri was born to the late J.V. and Nettie Willis on November 22, 1938 in Marston, Missouri and passed away on June 15, 2021 in Dudley, Missouri at the age of 82 years.
Larry has been a resident of Dudley, Missouri all of his life. He had a T.V. repair shop in Puxico and was a ham radio operator and a retired farmer.
Surviving are his two sisters Geraldine Willis-Allen and Laura Mae Willis; and very dear friend Patrick Hobbs. A host of friends also survive.
Graveside services to be held on Friday June 18, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. the Hobbs Cemetery in Dudley, Missouri with Minister David Dee officiating.
