In Memory of Brenda Sue McClain

Brenda Sue McClain, daughter of the late Leonard Hessling and Louise Wilson Hessling was born on November 11, 1950 in Lilbourn, Missouri and departed this life on December 5, 2017 at her residence outside of Dexter at the age of 67.
Mrs. McClain was a housewife and homemaker in her own home and was a resident of Dexter.
On August 30, 1975, she was united in marriage to Billy J. McClain in Bloomfield, Mo. Mr. McClain resides of the home outside of Dexter.
Survivors include: five sons, Mark McClain and wife Brenda of Bismarck, Mo, Daniel Slavings and wife Brenda of Dexter, Mo, Robert Slavings and wife Beth of Bernie, Mo, Bobby Slavings and wife Teresa of Dexter, Mo, and Jeff McClain of Dexter, Mo; by four daughters, Barbara Brown and husband Randy of Jefferson City, Mo, Debbie Ferguson and husband James of Fenton, Mo, Michelle Waters and husband Chris of Dexter, Mo, Melissa McLard of Bernie, Mo; by four brothers, Bobby Joe Hessling of Poplar Bluff, Mo, Lennard Hessling of Grandin, Mo, Otis Hessling of Russellville, Ar, Jerry Hessling and wife Dianna of Dexter, Mo; by four sisters, Sue Sartin of Haleyville, Al, Billie Jean George of Princeton, Ky, Alice Ward of Dexter, Mo, Jane Ann Stark of Dexter, Mo; by twenty-seven grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren; by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; by one son, Billy McClain; by one daughter, Carol McClain; by one sister Norma Jean Hessling.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, December 8, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
Services will be conducted on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel.
Interment will follow at the Dexter Cemetery.

In Memory of Faye Summers

Faye F. Summers, daughter of the late Warren “Frank” Prichard and Loreada Wray Prichard was born on October 16, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan and departed this life on December 4, 2017 at the Cypress Point Skilled Nursing Facility in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 80.
Faye was a homemaker and was a resident of Dexter.
Survivors include: two sons, Gary Summers of Dexter, Mo and David Lee Summers of Dexter, Mo; by one sister, Mae Ivy of Bloomfield, Mo; by one grandson, Colton Summers; by one great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Frankie Williams.
Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home of Dexter in charge of all arrangements.

In Memory of Rebecca Buchanan

Rebecca Buchanan, daughter of the late Lem Moore and Melissa Mae Riley Moore was born on November 29, 1934 and departed this life on December 3, 2017 at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri at the age of 83.
Rebecca had worked at the Stoddard County Gospel Mission and was a resident of Dexter.
On June 26, 1952, she was united in marriage to Benny Benjamin Calvin Buchanan in Pocahontas, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on May 19, 2005.
Survivors include: one son, Rick Buchanan and wife Brenda of Dexter, Mo; by one daughter, Terri Hager of Media, Ohio; by three grandchildren, Randy Meese, Tonya Hill and Tyler Hager; by three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the Bernie Cemetery in Bernie, Mo.
Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter in charge of all arrangements.

In Memory of Bessie Willetta Suttles

Bessie Willetta Suttles, daughter of the late William Westley Williamson and Bessie O. Durham Williamson was born in Bloomfield, Missouri on June 13, 1948 and departed this life at her residence in Malden, Missouri on December 1, 2017 at the age of 69.
Mrs. Suttles had worked at Brown Shoe Company for 23 years until it closed, later she worked for Federal Mogul until it closed also, so was also homemaker and a resident of Malden.
Survivors include two sons, Richard Lee Williamson of Clinton, Utah and Terry Leon Williamson of Jacksonville, Arkansas; by one brother, James Westley Williamson of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; by four grandchildren; also by other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death other than by her parents, by one brother, Jerry Durham; and by one sister, Mary Wilcut.
Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, Missouri on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M.
Funeral services will then be conducted at 2:00 P.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Bernie, with Rev. William Hill officiating.
Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery. Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.

In Memory of Quiana Nicole Roland

Quiana Nicole Roland passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017 at the age of 35, in New Orleans, LA. She was born November 29, 1981, in Dexter, MO. Quiana has childhood roots in Bloomfield, MO. She lived most of her adult life in St. Louis, MO, where she made many lifelong friends she considered family. She was most recently living in New Orleans, LA, where she moved this past summer to help care for her mother who is currently battling cancer.
Quiana is survived by her mother, Cheryl Roland (Kenny Kleinik) of New Orleans, LA; her father, Ronnie Jones (Becky Dorris) of Marmaduke, AR; three brothers: Christopher McManaway, John Kacy Jones, Ryan Jones; one sister, Elizabeth Knight; aunts and uncles: Tony Roland, J.D. Roland, Jeanette (Doc) Reininger, John Paul Jones, Wanda Sue Bellers. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and many friends also survive her.
She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Clifford Roland and Margie Reynolds; paternal grandparents, John Ivan Jones and Wanda Lee Williams (Jim Williams); aunt and uncle, Larry and Kathy Jones; one cousin, Sara Jones Leija.
Quiana had a big heart, an unforgettable smile and an infectious laugh. She was beautiful inside and out. She loved her family and friends with all her heart, and lived out her motto of “one love.” She was forever helping others and showing up, loving on all those who needed her. Quiana will be forever remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Quiana will be laid to rest next to her maternal grandmother in Ina, IL. Graveside services for family and friends are being planned for a later date.
