In Memory of Wilson Horton
Wilson Horton, son of the late Woodrow Wilson Horton and Ida Faye Clark Horton was born on July 17, 1942 in Sikeston, Missouri and departed this life on July 17, 2017 at the Hunter Acres Nursing Home in Sikeston, Missouri at the age of 75.

Mr. Horton was a well-known Car Salesman, a 1960 graduate of Dexter High School, and a former resident of Dexter. 

On September 5, 1964, he was united in marriage to Ila Mae Bolin in Bloomfield, Missouri.  Mrs. Horton survives in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Besides his wife survives include one daughter, Robin Moore and husband Rocky of Dexter; one brother, Tommy Horton and wife Pam of Dexter; by one sister, Glenda Medlock and husband Ted of Charleston, Missouri; by two granddaughters, Kiesha Moore Stewart and husband Brent and Bryghen Moore all from Dexter; also by one great-granddaughter, Brynlee Moore of Dexter.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 19, 2017.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Dale Jones officiating.  

Interment will follow in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery.

In Memory of Joe Anderson
Joe Eddie Anderson, 78, resident of Charleston, Missouri died Thursday, July 13, 2017 in Charleston, Missouri. He was born January 18, 1939 to the late Ernest Bell and Arlee Anderson Wade.

Joe had been employed with the Charleston R-1 School District since 2003. He spent most of his time in the Maintenance Department. However, the last few years he worked as the Crossing Guard. Joe took pleasure in talking and interacting with the children.

He loved the Lord and enjoyed attending church. Joe was ordained as a Deacon and a Trustee at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church in Charleston, Missouri. Listening to gospel music and attending gospel concerts were two of his favorite things to do.

Joe served his country honorably in the United States Army.

On January 18, 1997, Joe married Rosalyn Hall. She survives of the home.

Joe was a good man. He loved people, to dress well, to dance and to fish. He will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his wife, he leaves to cherish his memories, one son and one daughter-in-law, Edwin and Sharon Bell of Indiana, five daughters and one son-in-law, Debra and Robert Keller of Crete, Illinois, Gennesha Robinson of Joliet, Illinois, Charnette Williams of Sikeston, Missouri, Shatavia Hall of Memphis, Tennessee, and Shayla Hall of Charleston, Missouri, seven brothers, Walter Brewer, Arnold Brewer, Floyd Wade, and Sechrone Wade of Charleston, Missouri, Leonard Brewer of Cleveland, Ohio, Sevand Brewer and Lloyd Wade III of Columbia, Missouri, seven sisters, Gloria Scott of Bertrand, Missouri, Brenda Rodgers, Francine Triplett, Gwendolyn Wade, and Rochelle Fitzgerald of Charleston, Missouri, Glenda Clay of Ballwin, Missouri and Regina Johnson of St. Louis, Missouri, his stepfather, Lloyd Wade, Jr. of Charleston, Missouri, 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild, nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.

Friends may call Saturday, July 22, 2017 from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 pm at Mercy Seat Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Floyd Wade of St. Matthew Full Gospel Missionary Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Charleston with full military honors.

In Memory of Norma Miller Bradley
Norma Jean Miller Bradley, 89 of Cave-In-Rock, IL died on July 4, 2017.

She was born in Clarkton, MO on December 17, 1927 to Amon and Florence (Bailey) Miller.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy (Rick) Turner of Cave-In-Rock, IL; son, Terry (Connie) Bradley of Bourbonnais, IL; sister, Sue Glenn (Dexter); brother, Bob Miller; five grandchildren, Brad Beasley, Ashely McGill, Andrea Bradley, Andy (Christina) Bradley and Courtney Bradley; eight great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Norma is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Ernest Bradley, Jr.; son, Mark William Bradley; parents, Amon and Florence (Bailey) Miller; brother, Amon Miller Jr.

Norma will be missed by her family and her two beloved dogs, Lady and Boy.

Hardin County Funeral Service, Cox Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

As per her wishes she has been cremated and a graveside service was held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Raleigh Masonic Cemetery in Raleigh, IL.

Officiating the service was Rev. Gary Grace.

In Memory of Donnia Baum
Donnia Baum daughter of the late James Dillion and Laura Hester Dillion was born on January 13, 1940 in Corning, Arkansas and departed this life on July 1, 2017 at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston at the age of 77.

Mrs. Baum was a home-maker and a resident of Dexter.  She was also a member of the Eagles in Dexter.

She was united in marriage to Felix Baum and he preceded her in death.

She is survived by one son, Jim Bailey of Dexter; by one brother, Larry Harris of Bloomfield; by one sister, Patsey Hayes of Dexter; by one grandchild, Angela Barker of California and by two great-grandchildren, Johnna Baum and Judith Barker.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rainey-Mathis Funeral Homes in Dexter.

In Memory of John Moore
John Moore, son of the late Glen Edwin Moore Jr. and Rachael Jones Moore was born on February 18, 1951 in Cincinnati, Ohio and departed this life at his residence in Dexter, Missouri on July 8, 2017 at the age of 66 years.
 
Mr. Moore was a former plant manager for Paramount Headwear in Dexter and former human resources manager at Tyson Foods in Dexter for the past twenty-six years.  John was a member and active at the Risen Church in Dexter where he served as a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher.  He also served on numerous boards in the community.
 
On December 31, 1994, he was united in marriage to Janet Christian in Bloomfield, Missouri.  Mrs. Moore survives of the in Dexter.
 
Besides his wife, survivors include three sons, Tyler Christian and Andrew Moore both of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Garrett Christian and wife Kacey of Dexter; one daughter, Sarah Moore of Dexter; by one brother, Glen Moore and wife Wanda of Lawrenceville, New Jersey; by his mother-in-law, Jeanne Triplett of Dexter; also by his sister-in-law and care giver, Sheryl Fowler of Dexter.
 
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Moore.
 
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 1:00 until 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 12, 2017.  

Funeral services will then be conducted on Wednesday at 3:00 P.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Greg McGhee and Rev. Jeff Roth officiating.  

Interment will follow in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery in Dexter.
