In Loving Memory of Kimberly Deprow

Kimberly Deprow, daughter of John Monjeau of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and the late Ann Marie Wood Monjeau was born on December 18, 1966 in Pontiac, Michigan and departed this life on November 8, 2016 in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 49.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Lighthouse Christian Center in Dexter, Missouri.

Besides her father, she is survived by two sons, Matt Deprow of Sikeston, Missouri and Chris Crader of Dexter, Missouri; by two daughters, Amanda Hook and Lisa Deprow both of Dexter, Missouri; by one brother, Robert Hook of Dexter, Missouri; two sisters, Kelly Miles of Weidman, Michigan and Lora Anderson of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.

Besides her mother, she is preceded in death by one son, Michael Hook and by one brother Tyrone Hook.

Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home on Friday, November 11, 2016 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. 

Funeral services will be conducted November 11, 2016 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Tim Russell officiating.

In Loving Memory of Norman Cleo Roberts

Norman Cleo Roberts of Dexter, son of the late Otto Henry and Rhoda Samantha Flannigan Roberts, was born in Knobel, Arkansas on March 1, 1927, and passed away at the Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau on November 6, 2016, at the age of 89 years, 8 months and 5 days.

Norman lived in Essex for many years, moved to Dexter in 1993. He served in the US Army, was a farmer and a member of the St. Joe General Baptist Church in Idalia, serving as a deacon for many years.

On August 20, 1946, he married Wandalee Walker in Dexter, Missouri.

Surviving are his wife, Wandalee Roberts of Dexter; three sons and wives; Rodney &  Annette Roberts of Lithia, Florida, Larry & Elaine  Roberts of Dexter; Rickie & Gloria Roberts of Ozark, Missouri; two daughters and husbands, Norma & Mike Patterson of Bloomfield, Sandra & James Cooper of Hollister, Missouri; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; three brothers, Johnie Roberts of St. Peters, Frank Roberts of Jackson, Darel Roberts of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Geneva Hessling and Louise Ayers both of St. Louis and Juanita Ohnimus of Kansas City. Other relatives and many friends also survive. Also preceded in death by four brothers, Otto, Glen, Carl and Harold Roberts; and one sister, Betty Chitwood.

Friends may visit on Saturday, November 12, 2016, after 11:00 a.m. until time of services at 1:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Rev. Greg Stevens of Bloomfield officiating and Rev. Ronnie Stevens of Bloomfield assisting.

Interment will follow in the Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri is in charge of arrangements.

In Loving Memory of Edith Marie Dozier

Edith Marie Dozier, daughter of the late Troy and Flora Keathley Bell was born on August 6, 1933 in Osceola, Missouri and departed this life on November 6, 2016 at the Southeast Health of Cape Girardeau at the age of 83.

Mrs. Dozier worked at EMC Insurance Company in Phoenix, Arizona.  She was a member of the Parma Church of God and was a resident of Parma.

On September 4, 1958, she was united in marriage to Lloyd Dozier in Wichita, Kansas.  Mr. Dozier preceded her in death in April 14, 2011.

Survived by one niece, Nina Graves; nephews, Dan Catron, Jim Catron, Reggie Gregory and Steven Gregory.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Robert Dozier; one brother, Ernest Bell of Dexter; by two sisters, Eva Gregory of Dexter and Doris Catron.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Bernie on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. 

Funeral services will then be conducted on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Brown officiating.

In Loving Memory of Versie Mae Lewis

Versie Mae Lewis, daughter of the late Vader Blocker and Sally Pig Blocker was born on December 7, 1936 in Hiram, Missouri and departed this life on November 5, 2016 at the Bloomfield Living Center at the age of 79.

On May 5, 1952, she was united in marriage to Virgil Lewis in New Madrid, Missouri.  Mr. Lewis preceded her in death on June 17, 1999.

Mrs. Lewis was a member of the Christ Gospel Church in Puxico.  She was the head cook at Don’s Steakhouse as well as Tucker’s.  She was a resident of Bloomfield.

She is survived by one son, Randy Lewis of Bloomfield; by four daughters, Evelyn Groves,Betty Angel and Leta Bostic all of Bloomfield and by Marilyn Lee of Wauchula, Florida; by one brother, Ora Blocker of Oklahoma; by one sister, Ruth Keys of Oklahoma; by twelve grandchildren; by thirty great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Besides her husband and parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Dewey Blocker and Franklin Blocker and by three sisters, Pearl Fox, Ruby Skaggs and Flora Frymire.

Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. 

Funeral services will be conducted on November 9, 2016 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Sam Rodgers officiating. 

Interment will follow at the Morgan Memorial Park at Advance, Missouri.

Melba Jo White, daughter of the late Maxine Johnson Mott was born on November 21, 1946 in Benton, Missouri and departed this life on November 6, 2016 at the Southeast Health of Stoddard County at the age of 69.

Mrs. White was a home-maker and a resident of Dexter.  She was a member of the Gospel Assembly Church in Sikeston.   

On September 15, 1990 she was united in marriage to James D. White in Sikeston. Mr. White survives of the residence.

Besides her husband she is survived by one son, Eugene Woods; by one brother, Johnny Mott of East Prairie, Missouri and Paul Mott of Sikeston, Missouri, and by one sister, Marilyn of East Prairie, Missouri. 

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home on Monday, November 7, 2016 from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. 

Funeral services will then be conducted on Monday, November 7, 2016 at 12:00 P.M. Noon in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Bobby Mouser and Rev. Roy Stafford officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
