Schree Ann Gourley Obituary

Schree Ann Gourley, daughter of Elwood Rush and the late Cinda Bell Keeling Rush, was born in Gosnell, Arkansas on November 1, 1945 and departed this life at her residence in Malden, Missouri on March 28, 2016 at the age of 70.
 
Mrs. Gourley had been secretary to the  District Manager of Farmers Insurance, and was a homemaker.   She was an active member of Lynn Oak General Baptist Church of Clarkton, Missouri where she had been Sunday School teacher to children; and was a member of the Women’s Missionary Society.
 
She was united in marriage to Richard Gerald Gourley in Metropolis, Illinois on September 30, 1970. Mr. Gourley survives in their home in Malden.
 
Other survivors include her father, Elwood Rush of Bernie, Missouri; by three daughters, Tina Marie Duncan of Overland Park, Kansas, Candace Lynne Mitchell of Kennett, Missouri and Sherry Lynne Chambers of Malden, Missouri; by six grandchildren, Amber, Whittney, Tori, Trevor and Zak; by six great-grandchildren; also by other relatives and many friends.
 
She was preceded in death other than by her Mother, by one brother, Steve Rush.
 
Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home of Bernie, Missouri on Friday, April 1, 2016 from 9:30 A.M. until 11:00 A.M.

Funeral services will then be conducted at 11:00 A.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Randy Wiseman officiating.

Interment will follow in Bernie Cemetery. Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
 
In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorials be made to St. Judes.

Wilma C. Teets, daughter of the late Joseph Raymond Teel and Mirtie Chambers Teel, was born on September 4, 1943 in Gideon, Missouri and departed this life on March 27, 2016 at Southeast Health Center of Stoddard County in Dexter at the age of 72.

Mrs. Teets was a member of the Vision of Hope Church in Essex, Missouri.  She was a homemaker and a resident of Bernie, Missouri.

On November 14, 1988, she was united in marriage to Stanley Teets in Dexter.  Mr. Teets survives.

She is survived by four sons, Carl Duty, Jr. and wife Sheryl of St. Charles, Missouri, Michael Duty of Dexter, Missouri, Timothy Duty of Newport, Arkansas and Keith Allen Phillips of Bernie, Missouri; by one daughter, Pamela Cobb and husband Billy of Malden, Missouri; by eighteen grandchildren; by one brother, Gary Teel of Dexter, Missouri; and by four sisters, Thelma Weathers, Wanda Truax, Loretta Stanberry, all of Dexter, Missouri and Linda Thacker of Bernie, Missouri.  She is also survived by three step-children, Amy Eldridge, Jenny Carr and Michael Teets; and by six step-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Wayne Teel, Paul Teel and Melvin Teel; and by four sisters, Dorothy Teel, Louise Winchester, Martha Weathers and Shirley Pickett.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 from 5:00 P. M. to 8:00 P.M. 

Funeral services will be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. James Malloy officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.

M C Moore, son of the late Perry and Edna Young Moore went home to be with the Lord March 24, 2016 at the age of 79.

He had worked at International Hat Company, and for the past ten years as pastor of the White Oak Church where he retired in December.

He and Doris Gillespie were married November 21, 1958. 

He leaves behind his wife of fifty-eight years, two daughters, Barbara Wilkins of Iuka, Illinois and Patricia Acord of Dexter; by one sister, Velma Pierce of Bloomfield and by one brother, Leoid Moore of Kennett.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Margrite Darby and by two brothers, Eugene and Roy “Bob” Moore.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 from NOON until 2:00 P.M. 

Funeral services will then be conducted on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Lynn Ash officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Tracy Wilson, son of the late Paul Samuel & Lillie Mae Cooper Wilson, was born near Bloomfield, Missouri on November 14, 1937, and passed away at the Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on March 22, 2016, at the age of 78 years, 4 months and 8 days.

Tracy had lived in the Dexter and Bloomfield area all his life. He was a member of the  Church. He had worked most of his life as a farm hand.

Surviving are five nieces; two nephews; many cousins; other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one brother, Dawsey Wilson and one sister, Wanda Jones; and one nephew.

Friends may call after 10:00 am on Thursday, March 24, 2016, at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2016, at 11:00 am at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri with Rev. Gary Cooper of Advance, Missouri officiating.

Interment will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery near Bloomfield, Missouri. Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield, Missouri in charge of all arrangements.

James Triplett Obituary

James “Jim” Triplett, son of the late Cecil and Evelyn Eaton Triplett was born on August 12, 1935 in Essex and departed this life on March 21, 2016 at the Southeast Health of Cape Girardeau at the age of 80.

Mr. Triplett was a resident of Dexter and was a self-employed farmer. He loved to go camping, playing golf and spending time with his grandsons.  He was a Veteran of the United States Army National Guard.

On November 19, 1960 he was united in marriage to Helen Lawrence in Dexter.  Mrs. Triplett survives of their residence in Dexter. 

Besides his wife he is survived by one daughter, Kathy Lambdin of Cape Girardeau; by three grandsons, Matthew Lambdin and wife Leni (Fluegge) of Jonesboro, Illinois, Eric Lambdin and wife Malori (Loker) of Wolf Lake, Illinois and Aaron Lambdin of Wolf Lake, Illinois; by two great grandchildren, Emma Lambdin and Clara Lambdin; by one brother Melvin Triplett of Dexter and by two sisters, Jo Ann Freeman of St. Louis, Missouri and Janet Viau of St. Charles, Missouri.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Thursday, March 24, 2016 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. 

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. George Nite officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
