
Mrs. Brown had lived in Urbana and Winona, Missouri before moving to Dexter ten years ago. She had worked as a server at the Elderland Restaurant in Bloomfield. She enjoyed camping and loved her family. She and her late husband, Michael, enjoyed buying and selling things they collected together.
On March 12, 2005, she was married to Michael "Mike" Brown in Dexter, Missouri. He preceded her in death on June 30, 2014.
Surviving are two sons, Michael Shemwell of Dexter, Missouri, Curtis Baker of Texas; two step-sons, Kevin Brown of Fort Hood, Texas, Dustin Brown of St. Joseph, Missouri; four step-grandchildren, Gabby, Brandie, Maddie and Kraylee Brown; her mother, Carolyn Shomaker of Dexter; one brother, Albert Shomaker, Jr. of Dexter, Missouri; six sisters, Kathy McCollom of Bloomfield, Cindy Shomaker, Shella Minehart and Jamie Ellsworth all of Dexter, Becky Martin of Denver, Colorado, Melissa Bibins of Seattle, Washington ; a niece, Tammy & John Sperino of Dexter. Other relatives and friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Shomaker, Sr., and her maternal grandmother, Ressie Yoder.
Friends may visit on Friday, July 3, 2014, after 10:00 a.m. at the Grace Fellowship Church in Dexter, Missouri.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, July 3, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. in the Grace Fellowship Church in Dexter, Missouri with Sister Karen Oldham Hardin of Dexter officiating.

Mrs. Tanner, daughter of Columbus and Ethel Mitchell Collier, was born on July 28, 1923 in Scott City, Missouri.
She was a homemaker and was a member of the Bernie Christian Church. On April 11, 1946, in Piggott, Arkansas, she was united in marriage to Fred L. Tanner. He preceded her in death on January 17, 1993.
Her survivors include three children, Chris Tanner and wife Gay of Campbell, Frances Herrin and husband Bill of Mission Viejo, California, Mary Cannon and husband Loy of Long Beach, California; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Ronnie Collier of Marble Hill, Missouri; and many other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Fred L. Tanner, Jr.; four brothers, Edwin Collier, Earnest Collier, Richard Collier Gaylon Collier; one sister, Kathryn Collier; one great-grandson, Josh Penick.
Visitation will be from 10 – 11:30 a.m., Thursday, July 2, 2015, at the Bernie Christian Church in Bernie, with services beginning at 11:30 a.m., with, Mr. Randy Moore officiating.
Burial will follow in Bernie Cemetery in Bernie, Missouri.

Blanton Kenneth King, son of the late Herman King and Edith Proffer King, was born on March 31, 1921 in Bloomfield, Missouri and departed this life on June 28, 2015 at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 94.
Mr. King was a member of the Oak Ridge General Baptist Church in rural Bloomfield. He had worked as a farmer and was a resident of Advance, Missouri.
He was first united in marriage to Edith Nadine Bush. Mrs. King preceded him in death in 1999. He was then married to Vaneta King on June 8, 2002 in Bloomfield, Missouri, who survives at their residence in Advance.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Kenneth King and wife Wanda of Jackson, Missouri; by one daughter, Diana Fowler and husband Larry of Festus, Missouri; by two brothers, Nerman King of Bloomfield, Missouri and Michael King of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; by three sisters, Oma Cagle of Advance, Missouri, Wilda Mae Armes of Bloomfield, Missouri and Velma Reinisch of Dexter, Missouri; and by six grandchildren, Chris Fowler, Timothy Fowler, David Fowler, Kenneth Ray King, Michael Blanton King and Lori Hosh; and by twenty-one great-grandchildren.
Besides his first wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Dorothy Ann Smothers and by brother, Herbert King and by brother, Blanton King .
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. with comments being made by family and friends from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Oak Ridge General Baptist Church in rural Bloomfield on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. with Diana Fowler, his daughter officiating.
Interment will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Mr. Caldwell had been a Bus driver for the Puxico School District and attended the Egypt Church near Puxico. He enjoyed being active in the Mingo Saddle Club, Mingo Tractor Club and was a member of Mel's Diner.
On February 1, 1939 he was married to Rita Watson near Puxico, MO. She preceded him in death on April 27, 2006.
Surviving are two two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Darlene Caldwell of Imperial, MO, Garry and Carolyn Caldwell of Peveley, MO; two daughters and son-in-law, Gayle and John Miller of Hecker, Illinois, Trenna Hale of Festus, MO; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren. One sister: Maxine Shoat of Dexter, Missouri Other friends and relatives also survive.
He was preceded in death by three brothers Grover, Delmer and Gene Caldwell, one sister Audrey Stewart, one son-in-law Charles Hale and one granddaughter Renee Lucas.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday June 30, 2015, at 1:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico, Missouri with the Rev. Wayne Burchett of Puxico officiating.
Interment will be in the Puxico Cemetery in Puxico, Missouri with Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Puxico, Missouri in charge of arrangements.

Carson was born on March 8, 2006 in Memphis, Tennessee to parents Michael and Paula Head. Carson is survived by her parents, Michael and Paula; her sister Chandler; her brother Cameron; her paternal grandparents, Paul and Linda Head of Sikeston, Missouri; and her maternal grandparents, Paul and Mary Douglas of Dexter, Missouri.

Carson’s Celebration Ceremony will take place at Highland Church of Christ on June 30, 2015 at 1:00 PM at 400 North Houston Levee Road, Cordova, TN 38018.
