Sikeston, MO - It's 2020 and you know what that means.....COVID-19 Guidelines! Fans will need to know this prior to the start of the SEMO Conference Boys Basketball Tournament which begins on Saturday, December 5th at the Sikeston Fieldhouse.
For each game schools who are participating received a total of 250 tickets.
After each game, fans will receive a passcode to give to each athlete and their families to watch the following contest. This code is for family members to have the first opportunity to purchase tickets before any remaining seats are made available to the public.
Four tickets are allowed for each transaction, and whatever tickets that remain will be then made available to the general public. Fans can then purchase the remaining tickets at noon on the day of the game. The general public does not need a passcode, except for the first day of the tournament on Saturday.
General public tickets are available to purchase on Friday, starting at 5 p.m. The first game of the tournament is at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Family members will need to purchase tickets before 5 p.m. on Friday. Family tickets for Saturday contests are available now.
There are 15 complimentary tickets available for each school to pass to supervisors and administration as well. Tickets are required to enter the fieldhouse, and there will not be a pass gate.
Disinfection of the fieldhouse will occur following the first two games and ahead of the 4:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. games. Disinfection will only happen on Saturday.
No student sections are allowed for the tournament, and visiting fans will sit behind the scorers' table and the home fans will sit opposite of the scorers' table on the other side of the gym.
Each ticket is $5.00, and the “Sikeston Public Schools (SPS)” YouTube channel will broadcast each game for those who can’t purchase a ticket.
To purchase tickets, visit the “Sikeston Athletics” page by clicking HERE.
All spectators will be expected to wear a mask at all times while attending events on any SPS campus. We ask spectators to distance from others and avoid sitting on the tape marking the bleachers to space out seats in the facility.
