2018 DHS Fall Senior Night Featuring Rylie Frizzell

Dexter, Missouri - The Dexter High School celebrated Fall Sports Senior Night on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Charles Bland Stadium.  There were 32 seniors featured on the field prior to the start of the Dexter Bearcats/Park Hills football game.  Dexter defeated Park Hills 13-7!

Rylie Frizzell is the daughter of Kirk and Stacey Frizzell.

She is a member of the Dexter High School Marching Band.

Her future plans are to attend Three Rivers College to become an Occupational Therapist Assistant.

Her most memorable moment at DHS was when they practiced in the Bearcat Event Center parking lot for color guard on a Saturday until it got dark and then continued to practice with nothing but the parking lot lights and friends to last a lifetime.

Her most memorable moment at Dexter High School was having an exchange student stay with her during her freshman and junior year.

Seeds for Class 3 District 1 Volleyball Tournament Released

Ste. Genevieve, Missouri - The 2018 Class 3 District 1 Volleyball Tournament seeds have been released.  Perryville earned the top spot with Ste. Gen in the #2 seat.  Dexter earned the #3 seed followed by Notre Dame, Kennett, Fredericktown and Doniphan.

On Monday, October 22nd Notre Dame will play Kennett at 4:30 p.m.  Ste. Gen will play Doniphan at 6 p.m. and Dexter will play Fredericktown at 7:30 p.m. at the Ste. Genevieve High School Gym.

District semi-final matches will be on Tuesday, October 23rd at 4:30 p.m. with Perryville playing the winner of the ND/Kennett game.  At 6:00 p.m. will be the winners of the other two quarterfinal games.  The Championship game will be at 7:30 p.m. that evening as well.

#1 Seed- Perryville

#2 Seed- Ste. Genevieve

#3 Seed- Dexter

#4 Seed- Notre Dame, Cape

#5 Seed- Kennett

#6 Seed- Fredericktown

#7 seed- Doniphan
