Cats Take on Dogs in Tennis

Dexter, Missouri - DHS Tennis Cats made it on the court Wednesday afternoon against Notre Dame in a SEMO Conference match with the Bulldogs coming out on top 5-4.

Eric Hahn, Matt Chesser, and Travis Propst won their Varsity Singles.

Travis Propst and Ryder Boles won their Varsity Doubles. 

In JV action, Ryder Boles won his singles match and Wyatt Parker and Ryder won their Doubles Match.

2018 7th Annual Swing Pink Softball Tournament Set for Saturday
Dexter, Missouri - The Dexter Lady Cats will host the 7th annual Swing Pink Softball Tournament on Saturday, April 7, 2017 with games slated to begin at 9:00 a.m. at the softball fields behind East City Park in Dexter.  Three brackets, 24 teams, one full day of softball!

The tournament will benefit the Ben Kruse 18FORE Life Foundation.

The 18 FORE Life Foundation originated in 2000, when four friends got together an decided it would be fun to raise some money for a good cause by hosting a golf tournament. In 2002, love offerings were sent out for the first time to families all over Southeast Missouri battling cancer and in need of love, hope, and encouragement.

Dexter, Missouri - Dexter HIgh School Winter Sports senior night featuring Britney Hubbard.

Britney is the daughter of Denny and Michelle Hubbard.

She has participated in basketball cheer the past three years and football cheer all four years of high school.

She is also a member of FCCLA and DECA.

Her future plans are to attend Three Rivers College to cheer, major in Business Administration, and get her Real Estate License.

Dexter, Missouri - Dexter HIgh School Winter Sports senior night featuring Rhylan Hillis.

Rhylan is the daughter of Darren and Tory Hillis.

She has participated in football cheer one year, volleyball three years, basketball cheer four years and track & field all four years of high school.

She is also a member of Future Business Leaders of America, Future Teachers of America, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Sr. Beta Club, National Honors Society, Top 10%, Teens Against Smoking Coalition, Model UN, and Student Council.

She earned All-County Cheerleading four years in a row, Academic All State Cheerleader, and All American Cheerleader.

Her future plans are to attend the University of Mississippi to cheer and major in Broadcast Journalism.
