2024 DHS Homecoming Candidate Featuring Emma Pennington

The 2024 DHS Homecoming Coronation was held at Charles Bland Stadium on Friday, September 6th as the Dexter Bearcat Football Team took on the Sikeston Bulldogs defeating them 48-7.

Emma Pennington was nominated by the volleyball team and is a senior at Dexter High School. She is the daughter of Lindsay Holden and Bryan Pennington.

She is member of the track & field team and is the basketball cheer team captain as well as a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, FCCLA, National Honor Society, Sr. Beta Club, and HOSA. Emma is also the fall Pep Club captain and Student Council Treasurer.

After graduation, she plans to attend a four year university and major in Special Education.

She is escorted by Chrisitiaan Wirz. He is a senior at Dexter High School and the son of Rick and Brandy Wirz.

He is on the varsity football team and the track & field team as well as a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Future Farmers of America.

When asked to describe Emma, Christiaan said she is sweet, stunning, and eventful.

2024 DHS Homecoming Candidate Featuring Carly McMunn

The 2024 DHS Homecoming Coronation was held at Charles Bland Stadium on Friday, September 6th as the Dexter Bearcat Football Team took on the Sikeston Bulldogs defeating them 48-7.

Carly McMunn was nominated by the cross country team and is a senior at Dexter High School.

She is the daughter of Cory and Chelsea McMunn.

Carly is a member of Student Council, FCCLA, HOSA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Pep Club, National Honor Society, Sr. Beta Club, and the football cheer team.

After Graduation, Carly plans to attend college and major in radiologic technology.

She is escorted by senior, Ben Dowdy.

Ben is the son of Josh and Alana Dowdy.

He is member of the Sr. Beta Club, National Honor Society, Student Council, cross country team and track & field team. Ben is also a Pep Club Leader and is this year's Student Body President.

When asked to describe Carly in a few words, Ben said, "She keeps rejecting him!"

The 2024 DHS Homecoming Coronation was held at Charles Bland Stadium on Friday, September 6th as the Dexter Bearcat Football Team took on the Sikeston Bulldogs defeating them 48-7.

Quincey McLaughlin was nominated by the cross country team and is a sophomore at Dexter High School. She is the daughter of Ryan and Chasity McLaughlin.

She son the cross country team and track & field team. She is also member of FCCLA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Sr. Beta Club.

After graduation, Quincy plans to attend Oklahoma State University.

She is escorted by Austin Lasater. he is a junior at Dexter High School and the son of April and Tyler Lasater.

He is on the varsity track team and a member of Sr. Beta Club and Future Business Leaders of America.

When asked to describe Quincy, he said she is beautiful, tender, and bubbly.

Puja Maisuria was nominated by the girls tennis team.

She is a senior at Dexter High School and is the daughter of Greta and Sam Maisuria.

She is a member of the Student Council, varsity Tennis Team, Sr. Beta Club, HOSA, FCCLA, and Pep Club.

After graduation, Puja plans to attend the University of Missouri - Columbia and study radiology.

She was escorted by Jaxon Medler. He is a junior at Dexter High School and son of Ryan and Ashlee Medler.

He is a member of the football team.

When asked to describe Puja, Jaxon said she is vibrant, stunning, and thoughtful.

Rylee Dawson was nominated by the football cheerleaders.

She is a senior at Dexter High School and is the daughter of Terry and Catrina Dawson.

Rylee is on the varsity football cheer team and is a member of Student Council, Pep Club, FCCLA, and Sr. Beta Club.

After high school, Rylee plants to attend Paul Mitchell Cosmetology and Esthetician School.

She is escorted by Jaxon Miller. He is a sophomore at Dexter High School and is the son of Gavin and Kristin Miller.

He is on the varsity football team and baseball team as well as a member of Student Council, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Sr. Beta Club.

When asked to describe Rylee in a few words, Jaxon said she is "OUTTA HIS LEAGUE!"
