2018 DHS Homecoming Candidate Alexa Werneck

Dexter, Missouri - Dexter High School held their annual Miss Homecoming Queen Coronation at Charles Bland Stadium on Friday, September 21, 2018.

Miss Alexa Werneck is our final candidate of the evening. 

She is the daughter of Chad and Amber Werneck. 

Alexa was nominated by the Varsity Volleyball Team. 

Alexa is a member of Varsity Volleyball, Varsity Basketball, Varsity Track, FCA, FCCLA, FBLA, pep club, STUCO. 

In the future, Alexa plans to attend a four year university and major in neonatal nursing. 

Escorting Miss Werneck tonight is Haden Hillis. 

Haden is the son of Darren and Tory Hillis. 

He is a member of the Varsity football team, Varsity basketball team, Varsity baseball team, Top 10%, Beta, FBLA, FCA, and First Baptist Church youth group.

2018 DHS Homecoming Queen Candidate Hannah Smith

Dexter, Missouri - Dexter High School held their annual Miss Homecoming Queen Coronation at Charles Bland Stadium on Friday, September 21, 2018.

The 9th candidate this evening is Miss Hannah Smith. 

Hannah is the daughter of Delmar Smith and Theresa Burnett. 

She was nominated by the cross country team. 

She is a member of Senior Beta club, Beta Epsilon, Rotary Interact, FBLA, FCA, Model UN, Colorguard, Kicking Cats Dance, Cross country, and marching band. 

In the future, Hannah plans to attend SEMO and earn her Bachelor’s degree in Biology.

Afterwards she will attend the University of Missouri School of Optometry and earn her degree in Optometry. 

Escorting Miss Smith is Gabe McGhee. 

Gabe is the son of Greg and Roxanne McGhee. 

He is a member of Chamber choir, cross country, and basketball.

Miss Emily Smith is the 8th candidate this evening. 

Emily is the daughter of Chris Smith and Ryan and Heather Greer.

She was nominated by the Varsity Football Team. 

Emily is a member of Beta, Stuco, FCA, FCCLA, FBLA, FFA, musicals all 4 years, pep club, and NHS. 

In the future, she wants to attend Arkansas State University to study nursing and receive her BSN. From there, she wishes to become a neonatal nurse.

Escorting Miss Smith  tonight is Ernesto Rivera. 

Ernesto is the son of Julio Rivera and Tiffany Fields. 

Ernesto is a member of Varsity football team all 4 years, DECA, Beta, FBLA, and FCA.

Miss Maci McBride is 7th candidate this evening. 

Maci is the daughter of Aaron and Misti McBride.

Maci was nominated by the Varsity Tennis team. 

She is a member of DHS Broadcasting team, Yearbook, Historian of FCCLA, Secretary of FBLA, Representative of Student Council, pep club, Senior Beta, FCA, Varsity tennis, and Varsity Basketball.

In the future, Maci hopes to join the army and attend Arkansas State University in the fall of 2019 majoring in marketing. 

Escorting Miss McBride tonight is Brock Simmons. 

Brock is the son of Westley and Amy Simmons. 

He is a member of FCA, FBLA, pep club, Beta, National Honor Society, Rotary Interact, Varsity football, and Varsity track.

In the future, Maycie plans to attend a 4 year university with an undecided major. 

Escorting Miss Martin tonight is Joe Rice. 

Joe is the son of Loyd and Heather Rice. 

He is a member of FBLA, FBLA President, Senior Pep Club Advisory Council Representative, FCA, and Student council.
