Dexter, Missouri - Southwest Elementary honored 1st and 2nd grade students with Positive Bus Referral certificates for the month of September.
Each student showed great character on the school bus for the month and are nominated by their bus driver. Congratulations to all of the students.Each student received a certificate and a free gift certificate for a taco from Taco Bell.

Cape Girardeau, Missouri - Several Poplar Bluff High School students were selected for the 2016 Southeast Missouri All-District Choir during an audition on Saturday, Sept. 24, in Cape Girardeau.
Ross Dare, Alivia and Bethany Jenson, and Allison Knowlton and Aaron Taylor will perform with the 9th and 10th grade choir, while Hunter Ellis, Ariel Judd and Shelby Ross will join the 11th and 12th grade choir Saturday, Nov. 12th, at Cape Central High School.
The juniors and seniors will have the opportunity to try out for the All-State Choir.

Dexter, Missouri - Southwest Elementary honors Jayden Jones with the Positive Office Referral certificate.
This award is presented to students who consistently show the 3R's RESPECTFUL, RESPONSIBLE, and READY TO LEARN at Southwest Elementary in Dexter.
Jayden is in the second grade and was referred by Mrs. Leonard.
