Church of Christ to Host FCA Breakfast on Friday
Dexter, Missouri - The Church of Christ will host the Fellowship of Christian Athletes breakfast.  Athletes should be ready to eat at 7:20 a.m. and will have plenty of time to get to school on time.

Due are $15, you will need to pay Coach Lovelady or Coach Allen as soon as possible.  This is a great opportunity for all athletes to get involved.

The Church of Christ is located at 1014 N 1 Mile Rd, Dexter next to SoutheastHEALTH of Stoddard County.

To see the world impacted for Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes.

The FCA Mission:

To present to coaches and athletes, and all whom they influence, the challenge and adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving Him in their relationships and in the fellowship of the church.

Coaches Ministry, Campus Ministry, Camp Ministry and Community Ministry

Dexter, Missouri - The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) has teamed up with T.S. Hill Middle School this year to host their Annual TRASHBAG “FUN”draiser! 

Each year the Dexter Public Schools sell trashbags as a fundraiser.  It's the Middle School's turn this year and the students are selling bags left and right.  All proceeds benefit Southwest Elementary, Central Elementary, T.S. Hill Middle School and the Dexter High School.  Let's help these students BREAK A RECORD!!!

Contact the a middle school student or call (573) 614-1010 to order the following sizes and colors: EACH Roll is $10

Bags are heavy duty and come in four awesome colors!  You will have the best dressed garbage in town plus use them to color coordinate your home or yard clippings!

White - 15 gallon (65 bags per roll)

Yellow - 39 gallon (25 bags per roll)

Pink - 39 gallon (perfect for October Breast Cancer Month or save until you have your local Relay for Life event) (25 per roll)

Blue - 55 gallon (16 per roll)

Make checks payable to T.S. Hill Middle School.  Deadline is September 15, 2016.

Miss DHS to be Crowned Friday, September 9th

Dexter, Missouri - Candidates for Miss DHS were recently named at Dexter High School.  The senior class nominates the candidates and then the entire student body at the high school votes for Miss DHS prior to the home football game slated for Friday, September 9th against the Memphis Middle College Bulldogs.

The crowning will take place at 6:30 p.m. prior to the pre-game performance of the Dexter High School Marching Band.

Candidates are front row from left to right: Lexi May, Macy Urhahn, and Ashlynn Wyman. Back row from left to right are Cidney Gathings, Myca Sutton, and Caroline Powers.

Students Perform in MCDA Honors Choir

Dexter, Missouri - On Wednesday, July 20, 2016 students from Dexter High School, T.S. Hill Middle School, and Central Elementary traveled to Jefferson City, Missouri to sing with other students selected from all over the state for Honors Choir.  Students submitted recordings to the Missouri Choral Directors Association chair.

The students rehearsed the entire day and prepared for a concert that evening for parents and guests.

"There was a record number of students from Dexter that were selected this year for the 7th and 8th grade Honors Choir and the 4th - 6th grade Honors Choir," commented Jamie Sepulvado, Dexter Public Schools Choral Director.  "We had 9 students from 4th, 5th, and 6th grade selected and 8 students from 7th and 8th grade selected."

"Out of hundreds of auditions across the state submitted these students were recognized as some of the very best," continued Sepulvado.  "I am extremely proud of the musicians and young leaders I have in these grades.  Their behavior and performances were top notch!"

In the 7/8 grade choir the following students were selected Justin Viers, Bryston Pemberton, Cole Barker, Keiton Buck, Dalton Granger, Jeb Hubbard, Sydney Patrick, and Nate Bryant.  


In the 4-6 grade choir top row left to right (yellow shirts) we have Drake Channell, Jerica Harris.  Middle left to right is Abby DeMent, Kennedy Robertson and Ryan Strickland.  Front left to right is Gracie Hanners, Mia Williams, and Mackenzie Raley.
