
Dexter, Missouri - The Dexter Bearcats held their annual Winter Homecoming Queen Coronation on Friday evening. Ten Candidates walked across the court hoping to become the 2016 Winter Homecoming Queen.
Kerigan Brady is the 17-year old senior and daughter of Gary Brady and Jennifer Brown.
She is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, FCCLA, Dexter Rotary Interact, Student Council, DHS Varsity Band, Dexter Honor Society, and is the Student Body President.
Her future plans are to attend the University of Tennessee at martin and major in secondary mathematics education.
Kerigan was nominated by the Boys Basketball Team.Her escort was Tyler Heil. He is the 18-year old senior and son of Dan and Connie Heil.
Tyler is a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Future Farmers of America, DHS Student Council, and the DHS Varsity Basketball and Baseball Teams.

The first candidate was Hailey Anderson. She is the 17-year old junior and daughter of Billy and Lori Anderson.
Hailey is the member of the DHS Kickin' Cats Dance Team, Drama, Speech and Debate team and the Varsity Track Team.
Her future plans are to attend college and major in education.
Hailey was nominated by the Boys Basketball Team.
Her escort was Ben Sindle. He is the 16-year old son sophomore and son of Darrell Sindle and Holly Bowman.
Ben is a member of the DHS Football, Basketball, and Track Team.

Dexter, Missouri - The ShowMe Times would like to spotlight Dexter Cheerleader Macy Roper.
Macy is a freshman at Dexter High School and is the 15-year old daughter of Tony and Tonya Roper.
She is a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Future Farmers of America, and Honors Choir. She is also a member of First Baptist Church Refuge.
Macy not only performs as a basketball cheerleader, but also lettered in football cheer her freshman. Her hobbies are hanging out with friends, watching Netflix and sleeping.
She plans to go to college after high school and major in business management.

Dexter, Missouri - The DHS Winter Homecoming candidates have been announced.
On Friday, February 5, 2016, the Winter Homecoming Queen will be named during the Dexter boys basketball game against the Advance Hornets.
The Kickin' Cats Dance Team nominated Taylin Leija and Myca Sutton.
The Boys Basketball Team nominated Haley Anderson and Kerigan Brady.
The Girls Basketball Team nominated Melanie McKuin and Dakota Reynolds.
The Wrestling Team nominated Allison Sneed and Chelsea Mullins.
The Cheer Squad nominated Emily Page and Kelsey Kendrick.
Winter Homecoming week theme is Destination Homecoming - Monday is Destination Staycation "wear your pajamas", Tuesday is Destination Greece "wear togas", Wednesday is Destination Wild West-"wear western wear", Thursday is Destination Bahamas "wear tropical wear", and Friday is Destination Dexter "wear Bearcat red and black".

Dexter, Missouri - Southwest Elementary honors Patricia Johnson with the Positive Office Referral certificate.
This award is presented to students who consistently show the 3R's RESPECTFUL, RESPONSIBLE, and READY TO LEARN at Southwest Elementary in Dexter. She is a 2nd grade student in Mrs. Nelson's class.
