Help Us Kickoff the ACS Relay For Life of Stoddard County on Tues, Jan 22nd
Dexter, Missouri - The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Stoddard County kicks off its new fundraising season on Tuesday, January 22nd from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at Dexter Chamber of Commerce, 515 West Market St #B in Dexter.   The community is invited to come out and learn more about the Relay For Life movement and how they can help the American Cancer Society attack cancer from every angle.

“This is our community’s opportunity to help save lives from cancer by taking our message to more people and raising more dollars to fund the fight,” said Belinda Worley, Relay For Life Event Co-Lead. “Together, our efforts can make a big difference.”

The American Cancer Society Relay For Life movement is the world’s largest peer-to-peer fundraising event to save lives from cancer. At Relay For Life events, participants celebrate people who have been touched by cancer, remember loved ones lost, and take action for lifesaving change. Together, we can beat our biggest rival. Join a Relay For Life event and help us attack cancer from every angle.

The program will highlight how the community has benefited from funds raised and how you and your team can do your part in the fight against cancer.  During the kickoff event, community members will have the opportunity to register a team for the Relay For Life event, which will be held on May 3, 2019 at Dexter East Park.

Funds raised help the American Cancer Society attack cancer in dozens of ways, each of them critical to achieving a world without cancer – from developing breakthrough therapies to building supportive communities, from providing empowering resources to deploying activists to raise awareness.
